DeAngelo Hall, doing what he does best. (AP photo)
DeAngelo Hall, famous for talking, got himself ejected for talking trash to an official Sunday, and now he wants to talk some more — to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
Hall got so mad at the officials during the Redskins’ loss to Pittsburgh that he had to be restrained by teammates, and even that wasn’t enough to keep him from getting ejected.
Photos: Hall argues with officials, ejected
Hall, who made a lot of noise and a lot of enemies when he played for the Falcons from 2004 to 2007, went after head linesman Dana McKenzie after getting knocked down — he claimed pulled down by the face mask — by Steelers receiver Emmanuel Sanders.
Hall was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct and then ejected when he continued his tirade.
Redskins coach Mike Shanahan was furious — with Hall.
“I’m very disappointed,” Shanahan said. “We talk all the time about keeping your composure regardless of what happens, regardless of what the situation is. You never put yourself in that type of situation.”
He said he wasn’t sure what Hall said, “but it was enough to draw a flag.”
For once, Hall refused to talk after the game — about his ejection, at least.
“I’m not going to discuss that particular play. I’ve got a meeting set up with Commissioner Goodell on Monday. (We) will talk about it, watch the film, figure out what went down, and hopefully get to the bottom of this.”
Sounds like Hall already has the meeting agenda all laid out. Except that, as a reporter informed him, the NFL offices are closed on Monday due to Hurricane Sandy. “Well, we’re gonna figure something out,” Hall said. “I’ve got my agent calling them, trying to set something up.”
This isn’t the first time Hall’s antics have cost his team. Last year, he accumulated 20 yards of penalties in one play against the Patriots, helping to extend a New England scoring drive.

Why do we give this loser any press. He is gone. He was nothing when he was here. Big mouth and little action. Stop giving his face time.

After that gongshow display, he doesn’t even deserve the time of day from Goodell. What a disgrace he is to the league.

Hurricane-Smurricane…I’m quite sure the Commissioner will not only clear everything off of his desk…but will brave hurricane winds…to be at the beck and call of Me-Angelo.
What happens after the Comish won’t do as Me-Angelo commands? A trip to the Oval Office? The U.N.? A hoodie sale “Justice for Me-Angelo”?

What do his actions have to do with Va. Tech, he is a good athlete with a big mouth and let his emotions get the best of him. To make those comments tell me you have never played sports. It takes intensity and raw emotions to play football at that level. I agree he is irrelevant in the ATL and doesn’t deserve the coverage but leave the thousands of fine people at a great university out of this imbeciles rants

I met DeAngelo Hall before the Falcons-Rams playoff game January 2005, and he was a complete butthole. I guarantee that he has to have the least popular jersey in the NFL.

Why would the ‘Skins have a cancer on their roster like him, esp when they have high character guys like RGIII to lead them. It’s not like he doesn’t have a track record.

I am not condoning anything D.Hall says or does. I agree with everyone that he has a big mouth and an attitude problem. What I don’t agree with is that when he was with the Falcons he was a pro bowler who made a lot of plays for us. Jim Mora Jr. said it best when he said he has athletic arrogance. The dude talks but nack then he was able to back it up with his play. He was one hell of a DB and iv very athletically gifted.

Time for this guy to either be demanded by Mister Goodell to attend counseling or get kicked out of the league.

Recently read an interview with him and he managed to come off sounding like he had matured and mellowed over time. Just goes to show how much a showboat he is, to revert back to the Meangelo that resides in his soul. All that talent going to waste because his little pea brain can’t keep his big loud mouth in check.

Ones like Hall are the ones killing the integrity of sports and that is why attendence is down. They may say it is up but it is not. I see more empty seats than ever. Hate to say it but he is a reflection of society and why we are broke trying to fund programs to help losers like him.

This is why we got rid of him ! He was marginal at corner on a GOOD day. He is a loser and anyone who hires him is a loser a well. He is a disgraceful selfish idiot who should be suspended for 4 games. Coach Shannahan should take of his belt like Meagelos daddy should have done !Glad hes DC’s problem now!

Now that these refs have a long-term deal, I don’t think the league is going to want to show them up by giving Hall an audience with the commish so he can badmouth sane people for the sake of his own insanity.

When “keepin’ it real” goes wrong! BWAHHHH!
This idiot’s a legend in his own mind.
Michael Wilbon (PTI) commented the other day that his teammates should have been quicker to intervene. Hell, I suspect most of his teammates don’t give a rip about him…they know WHAT he is.

I can’t believe this bum is still in the league. He is and always has been the posterboy for false pride. His big mouth yaps like he was Muhammad Ali but he can’t back it up with his play. When he came to the Falcons I had hopes that we had a great one, but he was average on his best day. He probably gets burned more than any DB in the league and yet the braggadocio continues. This combination is the sign of low intelligence. He is a disgrace.
