The Braves will play the St. Louis Cardinals Friday at 5:07 p.m. at Turner Field in the NL wild-card game, major league baseball announced. The one-game playoff will be televised by TBS.
Kris Medlen (10-1) will start for the Braves against right-hander Kyle Lohse (16-3) of the Cardinals. The winner of the game will advance to the NL Division Series.
Ticket windows at Turner Field will open at 8:30 a.m. Friday to buy or pick up pre-purchased tickets in advance and will remain open until the end of the 6th inning. Standing-room only tickets ($18 each) are also available. Suite tickets are available for $100 each (includes a $25 food and beverage credit added to ticket).
Parking lots will open five hours prior to first pitch and the Turner Field gates will open three hours before first pitch.
The AL wild-card game will be played at 8:37 p.m. Friday.
The Braves would play Sunday if they beat the Cardinals.
