Memorable press conferences
Arkansas interim head football coach John L. Smith’s rant on smiling brought up the memory of some past press conferences that really did make us smile. Or fall out of our chair laughing, to be honest.
During our hunt through memory lane, aka YouTube, we decided this would be a question best posted here. What’s you most memorable press conference outburst?
We’ll get you started with a few choice favorites, but we’ll warn you there is some foul language being spouted so turn the volume low so the boss won’t hear, and put the kiddo down for a nap.

Who was the coach that was asked “How do you feel about the execution of your offensive line?” and he answered, “I am all for it.” That was classic!!!!! As a colts fan, my favorite is still Jim Mora and “Playoffs?”

I think he was the Arizona HC when “they were who we thought they were…if you wanna crown them, then crown them…” rant came out. And is fourth behind in IMO:
1) Playoffs?

“Execution”, that was John McKay of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Great line. He also said, “We didn’t tackle well today but we made up for it by not blocking” and “Emotion is highly overrated in football. My wife Corky is emotional as hell but can’t play football worth a damn.”
