Former University of Georgia tailback Isaiah Crowell has two touchdowns in his second game for Alabama State Saturday night.
Crowell, who led the Bulldogs in rushing last season as a freshman with 850 yards, was dismissed from the team in June following his arrest on three weapons charges. He enrolled at Alabama State, where he was eligible to play immediately.
Crowell had 16 carries for 60 yards and one reception for 14 yards Saturday night in a 29-7 win over Mississippi Valley State.
He had nine carries for only 18 yards, with two receptions for 17 yards, in the Hornets’ season opener, a loss to Bethune-Cookman.

I hope he turns it around at Alabama State. Never a question about talent with some of these players but it comes down to the right attitude. Here’s hoping he has learned a lesson and can reach his goals.

Some of you people need to grow up. Leave the kid alone to find his way in this life. What’s done is done.

Crowell had a baby yesterday.
Yes, he did, and he’s been tweeting about it. A typical Richt-recruited thug, he has absolutely no way of supporting the baby and babymama, and he couldn’t care less about them. Sounds a lot like UGA assistant coach Rodney Garner, except that Crowell isn’t 200 pounds overweight.

Glad IC got a second chance. Hope he makes the best of it. I know that his mama hopes he does.
The rest of you can shut up and let him either grow up or wind up in jail of his own choosing.

Cover kids that deserve it. This is one thing that is wrong. The media feeds off these kids that have idea about responsibilty. Just like the kid at LSU. Who cares if he was in the stands.

In the game against Bethune Crowell looked kinda soft and sorta weak. He looked as if he just didn’t have that “Dawg” in him……no pun intended.

Why are you covering this spoiled brat? he’s gone and good riddance! If the Colubus media want to cover him, ok, but who cares. he was a distraction all last year and Mark Richt did the right thing in getting rid of him. Again, who cares what he does?

Crowell brought on the hate by acting like he didnt have to play by the rules, I dont hate anyone but he let down a lot of people and I can understand their hatred, in time it will cool. But the way he was at UGA then the way he left basically acting like he did nothing wrong is just a sign of being immature.

I never thought he was as good as advertised. Our two freshmen running backs this year are both better. They have studed the offense … they have been plugged in from the start … are performing up to expectations and have yet to take themselves out of the game.
