Evander Holyfield is just like any other random tourist in London — at least, that’s what it seemed like when he was interviewed by a “Today Show” crew.
Outside Buckingham Palace, the former heavyweight boxing champion was asked what he thought about Queen Elizabeth II’s James Bond intro during the opening ceremony, which he thought was “wonderful,” Deadspin.com reported.
But that was it. There was no acknowledgement of his sporting exploits, including winning a bronze medal at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Holyfield tweeted Monday morning, “The @todayshow did interview me yesterday and ur right they didn’t mention who I was.”
Perhaps Bond would be proud of Holyfield’s ability to go undercover.
