Did you see the Braves’ comeback?

The Braves scored seven runs in the ninth inning to stun the Reds Thursday at Turner Field.
We have three questions for you, Braves fans.

1 — Where were you? At work? At home? Listening on the radio?
2 — Did you give up when they were down 8-0 in the second inning and miss the whole comeback?
3 — If you watched it, is this the greatest comeback you’ve ever seen? What others would you compare it too?

If you did miss it, Sport South will replay the game at 11 p.m. tonight.

Also, here’s the view from photographer Curtis Compton: and a recap from the AJC’s Carroll Rogers.

at home in my room. I was flipping back and forth to a movie I was watching. And then the 9th inning came and then after each runner got on base and then we started crawlin back and then when J-Hey came up was thinking wow we really are gunna win this game. And He struck out I still had the feelin it was going to be something special. Conrad came up with that 2 2 count and I was like omg thats gone isn’t it! I started sceaming and running around the house as he rounded the bases!! Simply amazing!

1) I was at the game sitting in the outfield pavillion in left field surrounded by Red’s fans.
2) Stayed the entire game. Once the bases were loaded, I knew the Reds were in trouble.
3) This is the best game I’ve witnessed live.

1. I was there!
2. I make it a rule never to leave before the final out. Lots of folks around us left, but I stayed. Lucky me! :-)
3. This is by far the greatest comeback!! The stars aligned at Turner Field yesterday! Hopefully this homestand is the start of something great!

i was at the game… we got these home dougout seats 11 rows up. we got there right when the reds hit their GS. i said “its still early” when others doubted a comeback. we stayed till the finish. we were up in the 755 club when brooks hit it and that place went nuts. everybody was giving others highfives it was awesome. i have have never been a part of something as great as that.

i was on a bus passing turner field and was looking at the braves score on espn.com on my phone. it was 9-6 bases loaded and then i looked at turner field and i saw fireworks going off. i figured they had won but i had to wait a few minutes before i realized it was a pinch hit walk off grand slam. Everyone on my bus started screaming when we found out the braves had won

Good for the Braves….1) at home 2) no, kept watching 3) Yes, the best comeback I have witnessed in baseball. Other sports, other great comebacks. But, this is the best baseball comeback I have seen.

They did have another excellent comeback against the Reds in the 90’s to answer the first post. I remember it vividly due to the fact my grandfather was rubbing it in my face that his team was beating mine. Was a great comeback both times.

it was Oct 1st, 1991, they faced Rob Dibble and were losing 6-0. Came back to win. It was during a critical point in the season too where the dodgers were right on their butt for the championship!!

Left the game after the 8th inning so we could head back to Mississippi. Listened on the radio and couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Nothing like driving down the road with your twin brother (Reds fan) in the car listening to the comeback.
