Report: Lane Kiffin gets commitment from 7th-grade QB

One day after pulling together one of the top-ranked recruiting classes in the nation, USC coach Lane Kiffin was already looking further down road, like way down the road.

According the Delaware News Journal, Kiffin coaxed a verbal commitment out of 13-year-old quarterback David Sills Thursday night.

“I’m very excited but I was very, very nervous,” the seventh-grader told the News Journal about talking to Kiffin over the phone. “It was very cool but my heart was beating so fast, and I was scared. But after it was over, I was so excited and pumped.”

I sure hope he didn’t send the USC ” Girls” up there to see this kid, because there’s got to be some laws against that! He’s a for sure idiot! He might just be looking ahead to when USC might be off probation!

Lane the used car salesman. He can pitch anything. The UT fans can thank him for their signing class. I bet half of the players still think he’s coming back.

Lane Kiffin is a piece of elephant dung. Al Davis was right…..he is a back-stabbing, lying weasel and will bring USC down just like he tried to do to UT. Everyone is so glad he is out of Tennessee and hope he never sets his stinking feet inside the state again EVER. Coach Derek Dooley is a top-notch man with integrity…something Monte forgot to teach to little spoiled Lane!!! Go Big Orange!!!

This kids parents need to be incarcerated. Why would you subject a child to such unscrupulous characters. They must not give a care about this kids social development. Really!; contributing to the delinquincy of a minor. Lane Kiffin is a cradle robber. How old was the hoe-stess this time? Girl scout or brownie?

This is the dumbest thing I ever heard. If this did happen, and Lane Kiffin honestly believes that this kid will be his QB in 6 years, then he is the biggest moron to ever live.

There were no USC hostesses involved in this commitment. A couple of cute eighth graders did show up unannounced at his basketball game though.

Ryno is right. They did have a sheet of paper that asked “Will you commit? Check Yes or No”. And why are we giving this piece of bat guano the publicity he craves? He loves every little bit of attention and is now getting it from this paper…move on people. Nothing to see here.

I’m bummed Kiffin left the SEC already. Would have been fun to watch him rip UGA a new one for years to come. Oh well, won’t be long until we can add Dooley to the long list of folks who out-coach Richt…

You people are unbelievable. Recruiting happens all the time by high school coaches of middle school students. This is the same thing. Stop whining and crying about it. You know LeBron James was being scouted by NBA GMs in middle school. If people stop paying so much money for boxes and buying so much stupid gear, then there wouldn’t be the incentive for coaches to do this or parents to pimp the kids.

Did I just hear that Lane Kiffin offered a scholarship to an 7th grader? Do you realize we are talking about a kid that might not even be a teenager yet? How utterly creepy. Is that how USC is going to win the recruiting title in 2016?

Go and actually read the story, very strange. What was the name of the quarterback years ago that his Dad pushed him hard at quarterbacking, seems like he went to college at USC or UCLA, got drafted by the Raiders, and totally flopped? Anybody know who I’m talking about? Anyway, reminds me of that.

That sounds typical of Lane Kiffin … just do whatever you can to get your name in the paper at someone else’s expense. This kid, being in the 8th grade, would be overwhelmed if the coach from North Texas State called him! The true fans from Vol Nation are thrilled that scumbag Kiffin moved on to USC and took him and his cronies out of the state of Tennessee. He wasn’t worthy to be representing a football program with such history and integrity as UT. THANK YOU SOUTHERN CAL FOR DOING US A HUGE FAVOR. Hope to see you in a bowl game sometime soon. Good luck with Kiffin, you’ll need it!
