Jimmy, what bowl is UGA going to this year. I think the toilet bowl right? Enjoy your crappy bowl game. At least GT is going to a quality bowl game.

Tech did pretty good. They should be proud that they won, even if it was just the ACC.

Great game between to mid level teams.

congtratulations to Tech and CPJ…. This is an excellent job for his second year…I’ve followed him since he was an assistant at Ga Southern. He knows how to recruit, and get the most out of his players,,,Next year Tech will be National Champions. On another note,,you can get in UGA with an expired drivers license,,Not so at TECH,,,That’s why our players don’t have mug shots. They’re smarter

Having watched Cincy play a couple of times this year, we better get really stout on pass defense – something we’ve not been able to do all year (in fact, for about a dozen years). They have amazing skill guys and can pass block with anyone. Derrick better bring the winged-foot shoes. But they can’t score while we have the ball, so there’s a chance. Look for Cincy to be at least 7 point favorites.
All that said, we’ll celebrate for a day or two – then back to work on the D. It needs it.

I saw the game Clemson vs GT where were u GT fans at i saw more clemson fans there then u oh i know the gate was locked the fat kid block the gate is that it…U played before a crowd of some well wishers n few varisty workers…39-34 if you playin TCU u best cry cause be a Moon over Miami when the horn frogs…horn in on u and win 45-10….are better yet if play Cin.Bearcats u lose to by score of 56-7! So no matter what ACC is really means Atlantic Can’t contended with SEC are any one…Oh since alabama won they play Texas in Pasadena for Natl. championship….and alabama will hook some horns n make hamburger out of them 38-17….for the title and prove to all SEC is No.1 again

I will end my taunting of Tech now. They have a great offense but maybe the worst defense I have ever seen. As a Georgian who went to Emory and then did some graduate work at UGA I tend to be a fan of the Dawgs and Tech…but more so UGA.

It might help Tech people to understand the reason UGA fans have been relentless on the blogs since last Saturday stems from what happened last year. After Tech beat UGA in 08 all you guys could talk about was the “superiority of the ACC over the SEC,” “how you were going to win the national championship in 09″ and you defended the vandalism of the hedges at Sanford Stadium. All of that banter made even marginal UGA fans wish for you to lose.

Now, it doesn’t really matter what bowl UGA is heading to. The fans don’t care. All that matters to them is that you were shown the inferiority of the ACC in football.

I will try very hard to pull for you guys in the Orange Bowl. I was born just a few blocks from your campus so I guess I should feel some home state pride…..but you Tech guys make it awfully difficult.

I guess gimmick offenses CAN win in the mighty, mighty, overwhelming powerhouse and awesome top to bottom ACC. Georgia AND South Carolina can now lay claim to the ACC championship.

All the UGA fans on here boasting about beating Tech are the same ones that just a year or so ago claimed that GT was not even a rival. Ironic.

WOW! Yella Bugs have gone so far, only thing they have not accomplised is winning games against teams with winning records. Oh well that is hard when the conference is ACC, there are not many teams with winning records.Compared to AL and FL who played a true championship, they won eight and seven games against wininng teams, the Tech men only had to win agianst three teams that are winners. Good luck when you move up to again play in the big leagues in S FL, funny how the best of the ACC can not measure up to middle of SEC. Proves that being the best of the worst is a good position.

If it makes you feel better, then by all means, dawgies, flail away.

7-5 cannot be erased. You had a wonderful year culminating in the firing of your defensive staff.

Lots of memories to hold onto; you actually might think about doing what Notre Dame did, and not go to a bowl at all.

I think (for UGA) going to one of these cr*p bowls will be more damaging than if you stayed at home.

Oh… and what if you LOSE? OMG, ROFLMAO

A great season under a second year coach…. I can’t wait until his players get here and we actually get our full slate of scholarships back…. yes, we are 10 short. I wish the sidewalk UGA fans would quit blogging and get back out to their camo Ford F-150’s and head to the QT for another can of Skoal.

I think it speak volumes that all these uga fans are on GT blogs to brag about the signature win of their 7-5 season. Don’t worry little doggies may be next year with your new DC and freshman QB you can beat KY and improve to 8-4

How the mighty have fallen, GT has gone from being irrelevant to uga’s signature win, now that’s funny.

What a surprise. Georgia fans still talking smack. UGA fans are literally the losers of the SEC. Enjoy it now Georgia fans because it won’t last. Paul Johnson is no Chan Gailey by any means. Remember, Paul Johnson is still playing with Chan Gailey’s players. He will bring in some good talent. It’s only a matter of time. Like I said enjoy your toilet bowl. GT is going to a quality bowl game unlike Georgia. 7-5, hahahahah.

Who’s 11-2? Oh thats right, GT. Georgia fans should worry about their own football because they might suck again next year. They can have all the talent in the world, but if that talent cannot translate to the field, then what a waste of recruiting.

Techsters it makes more difference who you play, see you loaded up next year, Middle TN, SC State and cellar dweller Kansas, you may as well be in the Sunbelt for all the power of your conference in strength. I do congratualte the runner up team in the state championship on winning the “sisters of weak and blind” conference. Better brag while you can, the Dawgs are starting another roll I think it is eight of nine.

RedGADawg, are you serious? That won’t happen because Paul Johnson will not let that happen. Let me say this again, Paul Johnson is no Chan Gailey. Another dumb statement by a Georgia fan. Paul Johnson’s overall record as being a head coach speaks for itself. The ACC is still young and it wouln’t surprise me if the conference did well next year. I think it’s funny when georgia fans act like the ACC sucks in all sports. Let me see the ACC is strong in basketball and the SEC sucks at it.

It’s absolutely amazing the Tech wins the ACC but all they can do is rationalize the loss to the Dawgs. The hell with the records, if Georgia had Tech’s schedule we would be undefeated…Stick with basketball, you ACC punks, at least you have one up on the SEC in that area….no one watched the so called “ACC Championship” last night…in fact, the game was not sold out…Tampa? Next year, Charlotte? geez, you call that a conference?

The fact that UGA fans are on here claiming some satisfaction for GT winning the ACC makes it all the better. So by UGAs logic wouldn’t Kentucky be the ACC champs because they beat GA who beat Tech? No. UGA fans are trying to grasp on to SOMETHING after their crappy season, they beat tech and somehow think that we are supposed to care about that now. We’ve moved beyond Georgia. GT is playing in a BCS bowl. GA is playing in the Pepto Bismal Vomit bowl. GTs seasons are no longer going to be defined by what they do or don’t do against GA and dawg fans hate that.

It is funny to me how the gtu fans have replaced scu fans as the most delusional in college football. I must admit that scu has had more success against UGA during the last 19years (with out cheating as per the NCAA) than has gtu. I really don’t hate tech, it goes much deeper than that.

Checked yesterday’s Basketball score KY wins, SEC has three teams in top 25 ACC four teams, KY is highest ranked of seven. I can wait for PJ (isn’t that what kids call sleepwear) to get his players on the field, last years team ranked 32 and this years class is 37, SEC has five of top 10 for next year. Who of GT’s freshmen had any impact as year progressed? BTW who has three playing on sunday that still had one and two years eligibility left. Maybe Georgia recruits too good and playmakers leave early and no high four and five stars are going to sit on bench. Soooooo Yella Bugs get ready for reload and streak has started. In terms of BB you guys are the ones stuck with the underachieving recruiter as coach. Dawg Town may one day be competitive, stranger things have happened, Oops maybe I was thinking of 2008 in Athens in November, that was unuwsual event.

Why can’t we all get along? UGA and Tech are both worthy of national championships this year, both have great defenses, and both have the greatest fans in the world! There….now fans of both teams can quit their poor representations of their fine schools by being horses rears on the other teams blogs. ‘Both school’s fans are equally guilty of acting like complete jerks on these blogs. Both teams play the schedule they’re dealt, and it appears there is not a lot of difference in quality of the teams programs right now (although that appears to be changing) A fan of both schools…..just saying
