I agree about Elam, we lost to the giants because he missed a field goal, that game should not have gone into OT. Same with Carolina. Now we have the Eagles coming up and then the Saints. Falcons need to get it together and quick.

It was an ugly win and it counts but the Falcons need to replace Elam and soon. Kuddos to Redman!!!

I still don't understand why our CBs don't sometimes jam the wide receivers at the line of scrimmage. Tampa Bay's CBs jammed White, Jenkins and Gonzalez all day long. I made sure that I watched Grimes, Houston, Hill, etc. Sunday and they never jammed the receivers the entire game. The cushion that they give off the line to the WRs is at least 5-6 yards and on short yardage plays it's an automatic 1st down for the opposing team. They are rarely close enough to the receivers to knock the pass down and/or intercept the pass. Even if they get beat, which is what's happening the majority of the time, at least they might disrupt the WRs route long enough to get an effective pass rush from the defensive line. Anything would be better than what is currently happening.

Redman came through, but it is hard when you are playing for the first time all year. We need to give him some more reps during other games as a matter of course. Why not try the 3rd back as well....

I think it is time the Falcons turn the offense over to Redman. Seeing how he won the game and did not toss any picks tells me he is the QB that needs to be starting. Also, it's way past time to fire Vangorder. How many big plays is acceptable for this defense to give up? Mike Peterson? We got rid of one pile jumper and replaced him with a different pile jumper.

The birds need a new defensive coordinator. The falcons keep playing a soft zone defense while rookie QB's pick it apart. Get some balls, turn up the heat with more blitz and force the corners to man up.

I do not think the Falcons will go far even if they had everyone well. Unless you get that kicking game straighten out, count this season over.
