That should have not been that hard, but good game for the team to win. Injury report please. We have the Eagles next week and will need everybody.

The WORST Game The Birds Have Played Under Mike Smith Regime! Yeah, I Know, A W Is A W..
However,This Team Was NOT Coached Up For The Bucks!! I Was A Firm C.Redman Believer Before The Game..Now..Not To Sure!! Why Not Try 3rd Stringer At QB?? Sorry A** Play Calling..Same For The Defense!!
We Do NOT Improve In Our OVERALL Team From Week To Week!! What Does This Say About The Birds?? They Suck!!!!!!

Wel this win was accomplished by PURE LUCK! And if Elam is still a Falcon by the end of the day Tuesday I will be SHOCKED. This is what’s called a BAD win!

Thought that Redman did great, considering. But why dont we have a pass rush? Horrible. And “peeved”-you suck worse. Never insult your own team you moron!

Never fails…a young TB team comes in and makes the Falcons look like a Pee Wee league team. You all are kidding yourselves if you think this team is going anywhere other than 8 and 8.

Dimitroff needs to be held accountable for this patchwork defense and drafting two players with a long history of injuries. No pressure on the QB, no coverage ability, no tackling ability–this defense just stinks! We need to scrap this garbage D and start fresh next year. Also, someone better teach our WRs how to run routes and get separation; every team’s CBs are in their pockets.

We need a new kicker. Where is Morton Anderson or his son….

Falcons are pretty good when they play basement teams, no playoffs this year.

It looked like the receivers were able to hold onto Redman’s passes better than they have Ryan’s. Maybe he has a better “touch.” If only the offensive line had given him better protection, the game wouldn’t have been so close.

Chris Redman deserves a shout out for his performance today. Not play since 07, he got the job done. Composed and deliberate. He could have done more if he had some decent protection in the pocket. I want the
Giants and Carolina games back. Look what they have done since they embarrassed the Falcons.

THE FALCOOONS ARE A FLUKE. MATT RYAN WILL NOT CARRY THIS TEAM TO THE PLAYOFFS. THE OLD SILVER HAIRED DADDY IS ALSO A FLUKE.THE FALCONS ARE NOT GOOD THEY ARE JUST LUCKY.

THE HUNT IS ON: WE NEED A NEW COACH, WE NEED A NEED KICKER, AND WE NEED A NEW QUARTERBACK; BUT I WILL TAKE CHRIS REDMOND ANY DAY OVER MATT RYAN. THAT FIELD GOAL STICKER ELAM HAS GOT TO GO LIKE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! MAYBE THE COACH CAN KICK FOR THE FALCONS?

I do not think the Falcons will go far even if they had everyone well. Unless you get that kicking game straighten out, count this season over.

The birds need a new defensive coordinator. The falcons keep playing a soft zone defense while rookie QB’s pick it apart. Get some balls, turn up the heat with more blitz and force the corners to man up.

I think it is time the Falcons turn the offense over to Redman. Seeing how he won the game and did not toss any picks tells me he is the QB that needs to be starting. Also, it’s way past time to fire Vangorder. How many big plays is acceptable for this defense to give up? Mike Peterson? We got rid of one pile jumper and replaced him with a different pile jumper.

Redman came through, but it is hard when you are playing for the first time all year. We need to give him some more reps during other games as a matter of course. Why not try the 3rd back as well….

It was an ugly win and it counts but the Falcons need to replace Elam and soon. Kuddos to Redman!!!

I still don’t understand why our CBs don’t sometimes jam the wide receivers at the line of scrimmage. Tampa Bay’s CBs jammed White, Jenkins and Gonzalez all day long. I made sure that I watched Grimes, Houston, Hill, etc. Sunday and they never jammed the receivers the entire game. The cushion that they give off the line to the WRs is at least 5-6 yards and on short yardage plays it’s an automatic 1st down for the opposing team. They are rarely close enough to the receivers to knock the pass down and/or intercept the pass. Even if they get beat, which is what’s happening the majority of the time, at least they might disrupt the WRs route long enough to get an effective pass rush from the defensive line. Anything would be better than what is currently happening.

I agree about Elam, we lost to the giants because he missed a field goal, that game should not have gone into OT. Same with Carolina. Now we have the Eagles coming up and then the Saints. Falcons need to get it together and quick.
