UGA has a very fine coach and valiant players. Not everyone can win. For every team that wins, some team must lose. UGA’s problem is their fans; they need to learn to enjoy losing and learn to enjoy seeing their opponents have good seasons. Things are just getting back to normal.

Mark Richt simply has not instilled discipline within his team — not for nine years. Penalties are just a symptom; fumble bumming is another symptom; still, being arrested for DUI is a symptom. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I WANT A GRANDSON PLAYING FOR SUCH A COACH??

Really think that this season lies at the feet of Mark Richt, and hope UGA will take effective action, or LOOK OUT FOR EMPTY SEATS IN 2010!! Richt seems to be more concerned about how he looks on TV than what is happening to his team on the field — and the scores show it!!

PS: …..and I will not be buying a Ford Truck!!!!!!

Mark Richt has completely lost the confidence of the DawgNation. It is time for he and his entire staff to be fired and run out of Athens!

If Coach Richt does not fire Martinez, Jancek and Fabris after the Tech game then something is rotten. Richt’s program at UGA is in deep decline and he needs to turn it around now.

I am afraid the beating our Dawgs will take in Atlanta next Saturday will be similar to the one we gave the bugs in 2002. So don’t be surprised. This 2009 Dawg team is the worst coached team I have seen since I first started attending Georgia games in 1971.

The special teams and defense are totally embarrassing. And sticking with an inferior QB when better talent is avaialable is unacceptable.

Richt better get serious and make drastic changes are next year will be his last.

The Georgia team fielded by Richt and his staff last night against Kentucky was the most poorly coached and poorly disciplined team I have ever witnessed at UGA. Severe changes must be made. We cannot tolerate this any longer.

I guess CMR is still holding up the mantel along with Notre Dame for wasting the most HS Football Talent. UGA regularly gets a top class according to the star ratings, and he must just look at those ratings and say good player. Two guys from UK who got 2 stars beat UGA last night.

I have been a Dawgfan since I was old enough to say GO DAWGS , early 60s and I have cussed , fussed been up , been down Etc, Now I am just plain pissed off , every so-called fan that walked out on the Dawgs last night should be ashamed of themselves . As frustrating as it is this season YOU NEVER EVER QUIT and that is what happened you people quit on THE DAWGS , those kids might have made every mistake you can make but they DIDNT QUIT. If they go 0-12 and give it all they have and dont quit I can deal with that However I cant deal with fair weather people I wont call you fans because you dont know what that means that QUIT . WHAT MESSAGE DOES THIS SEND TO YOUNG KIDS HUH . GO DAWGS ILOVE YOU ALL ALWAYS

Yo Dawgs-
Here’s the plan: First, don’t buy your season tickets or give UGA one more dime until the Preacha Man and his Medicine Show are out the door. Second, don’t buy season tickets or give UGA one dime until that overpaid affirmative action idiot athletic director Damon Evans is run out of town. Third, UGA is not worthy of playing any any bowl except perhaps the toilet bowl. Only a fool would actually give money to support such a scam. Maybe Sonny Perdue to fire them all through the state legislature. What a disgrace. Our outstanding recruits are receiving absolutely zero coaching. Any idiot could do better. The players could do better coaching themselves. Don’t look for any more top 10 recruiting classes. Maybe CEO Richt could hire Saban and Meyer as consultants to teach him about football. Give the Marlboro Man a cigarette and a pink slip!

I actually was pulling for ugay to win so it would help our sos. Man, did you guys lay an egg. I read a guys post on page 1 i believe, that he thinks you guys are an elite program still and nobody wants to play ugay. He also says by beating tech, you guys have a shot at an atlarge bcs bid. WTF IS THIS IDIOT TALKING ABOUT?? Nobody is scared to play ugay i can assure you. An atlarge bcs bid? Some ugay fans have no common sense. I think ugay has nothing to lose next week and will play hard in the 1st half and keep it within 7-10 points at half. CPJ is the king of 2nd half adjustments and this gets ugly in the 3rd quarter. We have dominated most every team on the schedule in the second half with top and have only punted twice in the second half in the last 6 games. ONLY 2 PUNTS IN LAST 6 GAMES IN 2ND HALF. I cant see the leghumpers forcing 1 punt and if you don’t score everytime you touch it, you will get manhandled wosre than the florida game. Put it this way, GT has beaten miss st and vandy worse than florida did. I will will let you guys do the math. Look forward to seeing you leghumpers in atlanta next weekend, i just wonder if you guys call it a fluke again when we really paste your team up and down bobby dodd. Cpj has only lost 1 home game at bobby dodd. I can’t see #2 coming from this ugay squad. Just pencil 6-6 and a libery bowl offer after next saturday. Maybe you draw alcorn state in the bowl game? NERDS WILL ROLL BIG NEXT SATURDAY! YOU HEARD IT STRAIGHT FROM MCFLY!!!

Greetings Bulldog Nation:

After careful consideration, we are proud to extend an invitation to UGA to play in the inagural THUG Bowl. All playas will wear black, the team that does the best sideline dancing and commits the most personal fouls wins, winning playas get a pit bull each and a big gold chain. The winning Head Coach gets a black Caddy with spinning rims.

Congratulations upon your trip to the THUG bowl, we hope this helps with your future recruiting. You’ve earned it.

This is the play that defines the dogs’ season:

You let a physically outmatched Kentucky Defense blow throught the middle of your pathetic O-Line, block your punt (which you were doing after giving up a huge lead at half), and then your kicker gets flagged for FACEMASKING while he blocks? I like to think I watch a helluvalot of football, but I have never in my years seen someone get a facemask while they block. Georgia’s pathetic, on and off the field. Mark Richt is a nice guy (this coming from an Auburn/GT hybrid fan), but he’s a softie and his coordinators/position coaches suck. The only team that has sucked so bad with so many consecutive highly-touted recruting classes is ND… I don’t think anyone should be proud of that.

See you on the Flats next week.

Georgia should forfeit the Tech game, forget about ANY bowl bid (They don’t deserve the crap bowl). I was hoping when the local crowd started leaving early, that they were going outside to form a lynch mob for Cox. Give credit when due…..KY played a good game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dawg fans, not the coaching staff, were largely responsible for this loss. With over 2 minutes remaining and Kentucky about to punt, our so called fans were leaving the stadium enmasse to the point that the announcers commented that this game was not over and were shocked by the fans quitting on the team. Cox was probably distracted by the
mass exodus which caused him to the last interception.

1st – Special teams stunk – every kickoff Ky started between the 35 to 50 yard lines
2nd Obviously turnovers helped kill us – Good luck Joe
3rd – Offensive play calling stunk – every series we went for a deep pass on 1st down we were 3 and out. We need to run on 1st and 2nd and only pass on 3rd and long situations.
4th – Defense was there half the game – sometimes making great stops and sometimes not there at all – Hope to see Willie gone. Tackling was also awful.

I love Mark Richt, but Willie needs to be gone. Bobo is still getting better.

Oh Joe you waited 5 years to play, we know all you ever wanted to do was play for Georgia we owed the starting spot to you anyone who don’t like it can just kiss my millionaire but!! Just cause the freshmen will have to learn and make freshmen mistakes next year instead of the last 4 games of this year no prob.. We’ll tell the rubes that we are going to keep their redshirt so they can still play 4 years for me and the boys(bo and willie) even though just tween you and me if they are any good they won’t play over 3 years anyway….

These guys are terrible!! I have watched UGA since the early 70’s and this is the worst team ever. They beat themselves with turnovers, penalties and bone-head plays. For so much so-called “talent”, these guys continue to be coached down. You can’t get rid of everyone, however, heads most roll. GT has to be an early 14, maybe 21 point favorite. I know anything can happen in these games, however, UGA never plays tech well when tech is ranked higher. Oh well. on to spending more time watching a clueless team and a clueless program.

After leaving Athens last night I had time to reflect on yet another lose. Same song and dance, COACHING. Just one thing people, Joe Cox is just a kid. Lay off the players. Every player on the team gives his all and plays hard. With that said, after the 2nd. int I watched Mike Bobo and Joe Cox and saw to interaction between them. Mike Bobo did nothing to clam him down, NO COACHING. Same thing after #3. That is the difference in being a good team like Florida, and Alabama. And a team like UGA, very mediocre. In my opinion Joe Cox should have been pulled, if only for 1 series. That would have given Mike Bobo time to talk with his QB, while play continued. That’s coaching, not walking around on the sidelines, or sitting in the box.

Good grief!!!!! WTF happend to our team since that fateful preseason #1 ranking 16 LONG/PAINFUL months ago!!!!!! Our once great SEC winning coach has lost it!!! Our once great Van Gorder D is LONG GONE!!!! I have never seen ANY team go from first to WORST so SOUNDLY in all aspects of the game. CMR how can you sit there looking smug and cool week after week with your butt cut hair style and spray tan and NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for this train wreck of a mess on and off the field. How your teams used to play in 13 win seasons past compared to now is like Jekyl and Hyde. All of this mess rests on ONE MAN, who happens to get paid 3 million per year?!?!?!?!?!?!? Stick a fork in our coach he is about as effective now a days as a certain Ray Goff was back in the roaring 90’s. Our wonderful college and our fans deserve so much better than this CRAP that has been called a “team” since last preseason. Coach its apparent to me that since FSU wasn’t going to bring you back you have basically given up!!! Instead of just quitting you have robbed our good state of millions as you and your high school football grade staff has made a mockery of our once proud program. I do not care for you or respect you coach and wish you would resign effective immediately before the GT game where you are fixin to have your cool shades and spray tan shoved so far up your coachless ass it makes me smile in a way. Lets get some new coaches before TCU’s staff gets hired or Brain Kelley goes to ND. UGA needs a new coach just as bad as we need a new Bulldog. ITs a must.
Sadly I think CMR stays through “part” of next season and its gonna get even uglier as he has lost his feel and zeal for the game we all love. The ship is so far sunk at this point its just gonna take another embarrassment next year to get rid of CMR and send his entire high school staff packing. He will not fix this mess as this team is learning less and playing worse as the season goes son. Next year will be equally as painful. Mark my words!!!

History repeats, as it always seems to, regarding UGA football. We will likely lose to tech again this year and in 2010 that will finally be the nail in the coffin for the entire staff. Bye Mark Richt in 2010. He deserved to be fired LAST YEAR !!!

UGA has never ever been a real consistent power over the last 60 years, as I have followed them since about 1959 and MOST of the fifties before 59 were absolutely horrible. When VD arrived, we enjoyed some modest early SEC success like the Sun Bowl vs the Tx Tech’s, Donny Heisman Anderson and we won that bowl and the Cotton vs SMU in 66. In 67 Liberty Bowl we got defeated by NC State and their loud mouthed Qb Jin Donnan and In 68 got blown out by a fine Arkansas team and so it went all thought he VD years until the early 80s. Even in 79 we were AWFUL with board hands Jeff Pyburn at QB. He was a loser like Joe Cox is. His dadday was O co ordinator for VD too. Both left the program after very little success.

The middle 80s were only fair with one team almost SEC Champs BUT …BUT they got defeated by a lousy KY team in 88. Sound familiar????

The 90s with Ray Goof and Jimbo Donnan were poor to only fair. Now? wW are lousy AGAIN as history repeats and it will take complete house cleaning for UGA to regain some modest and SHORT national prominence. Such is our history ………..like with our genes. It is our culture.

UGA is a great school but only a middle weight and we always have been.

When you only score once AND allow 28 points in the 2nd half…….I fell asleep thankfully. Glad I didn’t go or watch this disgraceful team. I’m not exactly in a rush to renew my tickets!

I’m sure the NERDS are loving it. However, last time I checked they got a pretty ghetto team like we do. There’s absolutely no way them blacks are graduating from Tech with an engineering degree!
