What I don’t understand is when a top SEC team like Bama stumbles against UT or an LSU team win by an inch against Miss. State it’s regarded as the SEC beating up on each other. Tech beats an underrated Wake Forest team that gave Miami all it wanted the week before with one of the top rated Senior QB’s in the country not to long removed from an Orange Bowl appearance himself… Tech gets the overrated chant. A win is a win … one a few years ago we wouldn’t have won. Go Jackets you’ve earned it

We won a good game. The team is good and so is our coach. The only mistake we could make is to be over-confident. There are a lot of good teams and on a given day …….. Be humble and play hard and smart.

Every team in FBS needs a bit of luck once or twice during the season (think Colorado1990). The
team did what quality teams need to do – make the big play or stop the big play when needed. All you
Dawg fans need to recognize that the jackets are a better team this year and probably next year if the Jr’s come back. Great win Jacket nation. We should celebrate and move on to Duke next.

After yesterday’s game, the Yellow Jackets have a larger margin of victory than Florida against both Mississippi State and Vanderbilt. There are still two common opponents remaining (UGA and FSU), but right now the Jackets have a pretty good chance of claiming the title of SEC East Champion!

What a change having a coach like Paul Johnson making those decisions to go for it and win the game in overtime as opposed to playing for a field goal to tie and continuing the OT. Defense played well and Wake was unable to run the ball. Just need to clean up the penalties and go play Duke for the Coastal Division Lead.

There are actually Georgia fans posting to this site regarding the quality of Wake Forest as an opponent for Georgia Tech today. Didn’t UGA play Tennessee Tech today? LOL! It’s very likely that the Demon Deacons would’ve whipped your a$$es in Athens yesterday. Be thankful that your AD didn’t schedule Virginia Tech for your Homecoming as ours did for us.

We were in nosebleed – and we could read everything printed on both planes……those guys were at full flaps, and full throttle ready for the tail hook….no more than 200 feet from the ground. What a treat.

Without a doubt the BALLS OUT end of the game play….I’ve never seen that in all my life. I’ve never seen a coach or a team so calm and focused on the moment either….What a game…what a “life” statement!

We have something very special going on the Flats…been a long time coming…and just gets better and better…Wow!

Yes Tech had issues last night. But we overcame them and WON. Even with the Wake “refs”, the “penalties” and the miscues. Great teams find a way to win and a Great Coach like Paul Johnson leads them. Now all you fakes go back to the ugag blog and post about your 5-5 record and your win against the school for the blind yesterday. GO JACKETS!! THWG!!
