Tennessee Tech was 5-3 coming into this game. OBIOUSLY, their not a bad team. There just in the FCS. Now if they were 1-7 or 0-8, it would be a different story.

First, the team had way too many penalties. I blame that on CMR putting together a terrible coaching chemistry. Three nice guys with no fire or passion at the top equals a team playing with no emotion. They also have no fear and thus play with little or no discipline.

Second, holding a glorified high school team to 60 yards is fine. Not forcing a single turnover from those players is NOT acceptable. Don’t these sorry excuses for defensive coaches know how to teach and practice turnover drills?

Third, Logan should have been in there much sooner. This season is a lost cause. The goal now should be to find out if he’s the answer next year at quarterback. At least get him some game experience so we don’t have to hear the lame excuse about no quarterback experience next year.

Fourth, I hope UGA makes it to a bowl because this team needs the extra practice and could treat those practices as an early Spring scrimmage.

This was not an impressive performance. Really more of the same. 86 yards in penalties, an interception, 7 whopping points in the second half? This is the dumest most unemotional team ever fielded at UGA. How else can you account for the same mistakes made over and over? No field leadership either. We should have scored at least 50 points on these guys. If we don’t play better next week vs Auburn it’ll be another blowout. I don’t get it.

Overall a good game. Still way too many turnovers, and after going 4 for 4 on 3rd downs in the first quarter, there were no more 3rd down conversions the rest of the way. Got to learn to stay focused no matter who the opponent is.

THWGT!!!!

Once again, its obvious that Richt and his staff don’t get it. One of the biggest reasons why it seems like we are rebuilding EVERY year is because the back-ups don’t get enough real game experience… Here comes a gimme win with Tenn. Tech and I was looking forward to UGA making this one a laugher early and getting Gray some quality reps behind center and letting him get some game time experience and throw the ball downfield… What does Richt do? Logan threw 3 completed 3 for 20 yards or so… Way to build for the future Coach Richt…. Way to instill some confidence back in the fan base.

Conner Huffman – what dream land do you live in – you state “OBIOUSLY, their not a bad team” – yea – REALLY?? – have you seen their schedule?? Let’s see: They beat Pikeville (a real powerhouse), Austin Peay, Tenn-Martin, SE Mo St, and Tenn State (and you think “OBIOUSLY (sic), their not a bad team”?? What world do you live in?? Their losses were to E.KY, E.ILL, Kansas St (49-7) and GA. WOW – they must be a fun team to watch.

anothermutt- I SAID their not a bad team IN THERE DIVISION. Do you seriously think that Tennessee Tech is going to beat teams like Georgia and Kansas State??? No. Their a GOOD team in there division dumb a** They have 5 wins. Of course their a bad team when it comes to playing BSC teams but when it comes to playing other FCS teams, their average. What, do you expect us to beat them by 100 points because they play teams like Eastern Illionois and Tennessee State?? Wow you have no idea dude. You think any team that is not in division one sucks. So that means tha Appalachain State and Richmond suck too?! No. They’ve won the division 1-A championship many times.

CMR has done an excellent job. He found a job for his wife and impressed his son so much that the young man traveled the South looking for anywhere to go except to BoBo land………..DUH

I’m so sick about the Florida game last week….I have nothing to say.

What??

About the only negative for Georgia was, once again, excessive penalties: 11 for 86 yards.

The two-year-old penalty problem persisted despite Richt’s latest crackdown effort: He immediately pulled players from the game when they were flagged for an infraction.

“It sends a message, but it also might have gotten guys about as tight as they can get,” Richt said in retrospect. “So I’m not sure we’ll continue with that.”

Are you kidding me??? CMR has had a problem with penalties for the last two years and he finally just now realizes that he maybe ought to do something about them and takes some action and now he’s not sure about whether he did the right thing??? How can a head coach of a major football program not know what to do about this issue?? Is he so wishy-washy that he dilly-dallies around and then isn’t sure about what his decision??

Look at Coach Johnson in Tech’s game yesterday. He KNOWS how to make decisions and sticks by them. He elected to go for the win yesterday on 4th down. He takes no prisoners in his coaching style!! He doesn’t second-guess himself but has confidence in what he does.

So CMR isn’t sure what to do and is afraid that he may have made our guys ‘too tight’ or may have hurt their feelings I guess. Damn!

Does everyone see the stark contrast between these two men?

How can a coach at this level after having had two years to think about it not have confidence in the decision he made or not know what to do?? Someone with this type of personality and philosophy needs to not be a head coach or a general in the military. He just needs to go teach Sunday school.

What??

“conner”…. Learning how/when to use There, Their and They’re would be a good lesson for your 4th grade English class this week. Also, it’s never as good as it looks when you “dominate” ANY 1-AA team. Beat KY and Auburn and then you’ve got yourself somewhat back on track.

Old Gold- You have to be kidding me. I’m talking about FOOTBALL bot grammar you idiot. What does GRAMMAR have anything to do with football?!? Stop correcting me for stupid things. I’m typing on a PHONE therefore I type fast. Wow, you sure do have a life…. Get of your freaking couch and go teach english if your THAT concerned about it.

Oh and why don’t we look at the teams UGA has lost to.

Florida (THE NUMBER 1 TEAM IN THE COUNTRY
LSU who was #5 in the country until the lost to Florida
Oklahoma State who was also in the top 5 until they lost to TEXAS
Tennessee who should of beat Alabama AND played Florida tough.

My guess, is your a Tech fan who is trying to brag when you barely beat Wake.
