Funny how the UGA fans can’t even get the details of the Tech-Vandy game straight. For the record, it was tied at 28 at halftime. Vandy went up by 3 early in the third quarter, then Tech scored 28 unanswered.

While I’m sitting here watching NFL I cannot help but think how fast GT’s success has come in these 2 seasons…If you take a deep breath and just ask youself, what just happened here? It all started after CPJ was hired in Dec of 2007 and a reporter ask him, “whose going to be your offensive coordinator” CPJ replied in his authoritative type voice ” don’t need one I’m calling the D_____ plays.” At that moment, I knew we had ourselves a coach! thank you DRAD

the tech dc said that the tackleling in the first half was terrible.it seems to me that the coaches might suggest to the defense where to line up.talk about being out of position.the defensive staff needs to buckle down or cpj will find some replacements.

I’ve read and heard complaints about our latest ranking, but I really don’t think we need to be too concerned about it. First, there are seven teams ahead of us who have not yet lost a single game. Regardless of their conference or their mythical “strength of schedule”, a perfect record should count for something. Suffice it to say that several of those teams will be playing each other within the next few weeks, so at least a few will drop from the ranks of the unbeaten.

There are also three 1-loss teams ahead of us … and all three have lost their only game to one of the seven teams mentioned above. Our single loss, on the other hand, came to the U … which is obviously not undefeated. While I personally think the Jackets are playing as well as virtually anyone in the country, you could make a case that our current ranking is “reasonable”. We just need to take one game at a time … win the rest of them … and let the polls take care of themselves. I believe that, if we win our last five games, we will finish the season somewhere between # 3 and # 5. If we build on that foundation, then next year we should start higher and stay higher throughout the season.

My boy BBR is having a bad day. Just leave him alone and I am sure he will either shoot himself or beat up a little kid or something. The suicide watch on the UGA Blog is the greatest thing I have ever seen. They look like those bodies in the crappy movie “The Happening” coming off the building. I love college football….when UGA is losing. I saw a Tech sticker on BBR’s girlfiend’s Pacer Wagon as well.

Now you know how most of the fans felt for the Chan Gailey era. I wouldn’t know, for I started watching Tech football last year when I started school there. Get a life.
