Mike Vick went to jail for Dawg abuse, why not Urban Myer? Eliminate the turnovers and the Offense was fair and moved the ball (some)….Martinez has to go, Ritch start calling the plays.

At least the Bulldogs can take solace in leading the country in off the field arrests.

I’m sure this one was the fault of the refs.

Why does CMR think a uniform “gimmick” will energize the fan base?

WINNING will energize a fan base like no other.

Gimmick’s are a way for a coach to hide what is reality. This team looked and played like fools today.

I suggest CMR take notice of the fan base that is getting tired of the gimmicks and the losing to our rivals and start making changes and demanding results.

MARK RICHT IS A LOSER!
I mean how much of Joe Cox can we take? And Brandon Boykin looked like adeer in headlights.
Putting in Logan Gray was QUITTING! Take those damn black helmets, black pants, and any other Halloween tricks and cram them in a moving truck– the one that ought to take Richt, Martinez, Fabris and Bozo right out of town. Who cares if we lose a 5-star recruit because Martinez might be fired or demoted– we don’t do a thing with them when we get them anyway. 84 yards in penalties in the first half, 3 turnovers in the second. Florida has rung up 90 points on Richt the last two games.
Our defense sucks. Our punt return team sucks. 4-4 sucks. Urban Meyer is a great coach– Mark Richt is not!

I am already worried about next year gray is not the answer’ this year is a bust so why not let murray get started on his football learning now rather than screwing up the first of next season or did they find out already that he ain’t the man I hate to say it but alot of the coaches need to go maybe all of them this season has got to be killing recruiting they see what I see they think why do I want to go there with next year looking bleak. You know AJ is going to leave after next year.

Why try changing the helments? Leave classic alone! We looked like a 2nd rate version of Grambling State. J. Donnan tried adding a stripe to them and we all know what a genius he was while at UGA.
Something drastic must happen in the coaching ranks – it has gotten to the point that we need change for the sake of change.

The Florida game fails to qualify as a rival game if only one team shows up. With a bye week, one would think the defense and offense would have been better prepared. I guess it is not important to focus on cutting down on turnovers and penalties. This reflects directly on the coaching, or the lack thereof.

I looked like Florida was playing Lenior Rhyne instead of UGA. I love the Dawgs–when they play hardnosed football, but I don’t see anything that even resembles UGA football from this inept under coached team. Agree that coaching changes need to be made. Is Evans the right AD? Does he have the steel backbone required to make these changes? Also agree that holding back players (redshirt) just so they can be available in the future is not the answer. Unfortunately, that has been the game plan all year and now it’s too late to insert one (or more) of these guys to really make a difference. Think back to Dooley with Herschel — was going to redshirt him his entire freshman year. Realized in the Tennessee game that Herschel could make a difference. Herschel runs over Bates and the rest is history. Why didn’t the current coaching staff have the b***s to make the same decision regarding quarterback this year? Or was it an AD decision? Either way, heads need to roll!

This is just sad. Other programs, that I thought we were better than, keep it closer against Florida than we did. Of course, how sad is it that our program is at the level where I was hoping we could keep it close. Something must be done. Offer a truck load of cash to Kirby Smart and get Murray in there for the last 4 games. Nothing left for this year anyway, we should get ready for next year. We have lots of young players, so we shouldn’t waste another year breaking in a new QB.

Different game same results…receivers running wide open through the defense, poor tackling, stupid penalties. Guess CMR still thinks all the penalties aren’t a problem. I am absolutely sure of one thing, Nick Saban would never put up with such foolishness, guess thats why he wins, his teams are tough and fundamentally sound our coaches are far more concerned with celebration dances.

Pathetic. Richt should be embarrased. This team had two weeks to prepare and the same $hit over again. Insanity is doing the same theing and expecting different results.

This ENTIRE coaching staff is in over it’s heads. The slide began 3 years ago and has now come home to roost. It’s now as bad as the Goff years.

What a freaking joke Richt has become…..he is CLUELESS. Everything from the uniforms, to the playcalling and management and accountability of his coaches, to the lack of discipline, to the lack of motivation, changing QBs’s, players playing the wrong position….it’s a joke.

I saw my first UGA game way back in 1956. For the first time, I am truly ashamed of my school.
For openers, we come out in Grambling “knock-off” helmets, then spend most of the first quarter
acting like a thug high school, jawing after every play and racking up the penalties. What a surprise.
No one expects Cox to be an All-American, but his play today was an embarrassment. As usual,
no consistent execution from the offense or defense, along with several mental mistakes at the
line of scrimmage. Score could have been much worse had Florida’s receivers had their minds on the
play. Nothing has been accomplished this year to make this team less penalty prone and the play
calling on both sides of the ball has been a nightmare.
Maybe a 5 – 7 season will shake some things up in Athens, but if there aren’t more than a few
changes made as soon as we lose to the Boogereaters on North Avenue, there will be more than a few season ticket holder that just might decide to spend their bucks elsewhere.
As a consolation prize, I also have had basketball season tickets @ UGA for nearly 40 years. I
must be losing my mind !!!

Ga Defense reminds me of the bad old Falcon days when the secondary would simply chase receivers around the field and hope to be in position to make a tackle AFTER the catch. Well with one exception, Willie M’s version can’t even make the tackle after the catch. How about that brilliant (what a joke comment from idiot announcer) play call by FL for a dump pass on 3rd and LONG – gets the first down cause we can’t make a tackle (too busy trying to strip the ball).

4th, 9th, 7th, and 6th ranked recruiting classes in the nation over the past 4 years. It’s not the players ability. Someone has to teach them how to play in the SEC. Many still look like they’re playing on Friday nights. Now top receiver is injured. He should’ve gone to BAMA and played on opposite side of Julio. Amazing how undisciplined play is tolerated week after week. I feel bad for the people who spend hard earned dollars to travel to UGA games. Let the stadium be empty for the rest of the season and see if that gets the AD’s attention.

I didn’t expect anything different. Spot FL 2 TD’s in 1st qtr. No adjustments on D as any good DC would have done but we have CWM. If he doesn’t get canned then why keep CMR? Too little too late is CWM’s signature. He’s gotta go as does his asst’s. Clean house.

Add insult to injury, they replace Cox w/7 mins to go in game. I told my son that he will throw a Pick and sure enuf he dcoes. That was a terrible decision as Cox is a better QB then #6. CMR takes ther blame for that dumbass call. Second rate players w/3rd rate coaching. Get rid of all of ‘em as this has gone on too long w/o any changes in sight. This is embarrassing and noi better than the Goff or Donnan years. Sorry, we’ll never break the glass ceiling w/the current staff esp on the D side.

The defense most of the time has no clue to what the other team is doing. The offense is a hit and miss deal. No rime or reason. Mark Riche has no clue as to what is going on. Georgia has lost to Florida 17 out of 20 years. That is a disgrace. Georgia no longer has a right to speak of greatness. It is at the bottom of the football world.

I will no longer support or watch Dawg football. I am at my end. When the Dawg nation decideds it has had enought then maybe something will be done. 3 out of 20 wins over Floridas? With the talent GA. has the issue has GOT TO BE COACHING! Coach you have two options. Willie, Bobo and others on your staff have got to go or you have got to go! In order to compete in the SEC, you have to put the best players coached by the best coaches on the field every week. We have good players but the coaching staff is a joke. Hello,
We lost a game we all knew we were going to lose. When we lose our starting QB and Tailback to the first round of the NFL Draft, it is not as though expectations were high.

At this point, why risk a year of eligibility for our QB of the future. While of course he can still leave at the same exact moment regardless, there is a chance he will love Athens and want to play his Senior Year ala Manning, Leinart, Bradford, etc.

What is frustrating is the amazing amount of penalties that we get each game. It has gotten downright comical. Something has to change. Perhaps it is Martinez.

What is amazing is the fall from grace of Richt amongst posters here. The fact remains we have had some great success while he has been Head Coach. Losing Van Gorder has certainly had an effect. There is some solace in him doing well as DC of the Falcons.

And finally, enough of using the caps lock button. I would wager 99% of those using them never even attended a single class in Athens.
Cheers,
J

HEY “J”
BITE ME!!!!!
Its not that we are losing games, but how we are losing those games. No one
went into the game knowing that we would lose. I think most people thought that
with how bad UF was playing, and us having a week off, I liked our chances.

And if you want to know why people are taking the stance with CMR that they have,
it is because of the way he has dealt with everything. Not wanting to address problems.
Just sweeping them under the rug. I feel that if CMR said anything, most fans would
respect that.

When is CMR going to wake up

October 31st, 2009
9:24 pm

Maybe CMR should spend less time on uniform design and more time on coaching. I’m embarassed to wear my red and black. We’ve become the laughing stock of the SEC. Willie has GOT TO GO and BoBo should be demoted. We’re falling faster than the stock market last year and we can’t seem to get a stimulus plan out of CMR. Why don’t Bradley or Shultz or someone get some true answers from UGA about what’s going on and what’s going to be done about it?

Don't Expect Changes

October 31st, 2009
9:27 pm

If we’re getting top ranked recruiting classes with national talent, what else can it be beside poor coaching? Why don’t CMR come forward, admit he has a serious problem and assure us he’s going to address it?
Is this too much to ask? He seems to be more concerned with his buddies than the UGA football program. This is getting real old.

Where were you when Tech was worthless? I’m sure you were not here.
Where were you in 2007 when Tech was 7-5, or in 06 when Tech was 9-5.
Or 05 when you were 7-5 again…. and please don’t forget that UGA has owned
you over the past 6 years, and during that time they have averaged 10 wins per season.

That is the main difference between Tech fans and DAWG fans… Tech fans accept a 7 win
season, and DAWG fans will not.

Fire the entire coaching staff. If not there will be empty seats next year and that will wreck the budget for the entire athletic department. The biggest problem with UGA is bad coaching and even worse coaching chemistry. MR, WM, and MB are barely acceptable in their coaching positions. The biggest problem is there is no fire no enthusiasm and no downright fear caused by any of them. One of the top three positions has to be a hell fire and brimstone type guy like Van Gorder. The top three has to be broken up to find the right mix of coaching personalities.

At least with silver pants, the thug-like attitudes and the off-season arrests, they somewhat resembled the Oakland Raiders. But the Grambling helmets ruined that impersonation.

The program coaching is totally unacceptable. Consider this: UGA is second in the nation, next to Texas, as having the NCAA largest budget; UGA has the fifth largest stadium in the nation and fans fill it up, year after year; it’s reported every year that UGA recruiting class is in the top 10. QUESTION? Why are we not more competitive each year, notwithstanding our past record? UGA seems to NEVER WIN the absolutely key “must win” games to compete for the SEC title. I’m not only disappointed but rather embarrassed and something must be done to correct the situation. Finally, the decision to keep the games in Jacksonville is stupid and reasons for the same are SUSPECT!! We lose money, games, and respect anyway you examine the situation.

You can’t have the penalties UGA has every game and expect to win. Even with superior athletes, you can’t overcome stupid penalties all game long. Stupid penalties = poor coaching. The coordinators are responsible for the poor coaching on offense and defense. However, the head coach is responsible for making changes to put a disciplined team in place. So far, Richt has relied on better athletes. Now he can’t and the subpar coaching is beginning to shine through.

Black helmets and black pants are BUSH LEAGUE and should not be put in mothballs, but burned in the hottest bonfire that can be built. That is Florida State and Florida crap, wearing a uniform of the week with different color combinations. Our helmets are red, our home jerseys are red, our pants are silver, our road jerseys are white, NO EXCEPTIONS. Playing games with our uniforms is something that belongs in a city recreation league, not a major Division 1 program. Instead of the players attire, the head coach needs to be DRESSING DOWN the Defensive Coordinator!!!!!!!!

Lame black helmets.

Lame coaching staff.

Lame offensive play calling.

Lame defensive game plan; for God’s sake, they only have 1 player to defend against.

Alabama and Florida continue on at Number 1 and Number 2 in the nation.

LSU won again, has only 1 LOSS still, and also is CONSIDERABLY better than UGA in the Coach Richt Era.

Texas undefeated and the best football program in the Coach Richt Era.

Boise State won again and clearly is a better football program than UGA in the Coach Richt Era.

Southern California LOST and is still 10 fewer LOSSES than UGA in the Coach Richt Era.

Oklahoma won again, and is still way better than UGA in the Coach Richt Era.

Ohio State won again, and is still way better than UGA in the Coach Richt Era.

Average Number 6 Recruiting Class according to Rivals and Scout.com in Coach Richt Era because the state of Georgia has the 4th most high school football players who go on to the NFL.

WORST “coaching staff” in the nation by far. A lame group of college roommates and buddies who sit around and pray together, but are clueless on offense, special teams and defense; and frankly on recruiting positions which are huge glaring holes on our teams every single year of Coach Richt Era.

41-17.

Abysmal.

Special teams, we cannot even line up 11 players on a field goal try by our “Rival.”

Special teams, we did not even try to field a punt all night long.

Out-rushed 2 to 1.

Again.

LEAD THE NATION IN PENALTIES of all 120 teams.

Coach Richt says “when I was at Florida State, we led the nation in penalties, every year and we did alright.”

Sorry “coaching” of our boys.

The real shame is we have some real talent on this team. Players who will play in the NFL.

You’d NEVER KNOW IT, watching them play here the way we “coach” them.

121 arrests and suspensions in the Coach Richt Era. 2 more this week, Georgia week, our “Rival” Florida calls it. Coach Richt didn’t even SUSPEND 1 of the 2 arrested THIS WEEK.

LEAD THE NATION IN TURNOVERS of all 120 teams.

Our players tackle and throw down their opponents, standing beyond the 5 foot white out-of-bounds lines LOSING by 4 touchdowns.

Our players can not even be told which 11 are supposed to be on the field against a field goal try.

Our players get up after a play is over and hit, push, shove, jaw at our opponents and have no respect for anything but looking like a bunch of thugs who are poor sports.

We purposely knock down our Opponents’ Heisman Trophy Quarterback AFTER THE PLAY IS WHISTLED DEAD without him even having the football. 5 seconds after the play would have been legal.

EMBARRASSING.

We run players out there willy-nilly like in Week 8 we do NOT YET KNOW who should be our running back. Take the redshirt off 1 of the running backs touted as 1 of the top in the nation, in week 6 with 3 quarters of the game OVER. Before that, we got to watch KNOWSHON MORENO play only 2 years here before the NFL took him with the Number 7 pick in the 1st Round. But, our “offensive coaches” cannot figure out that he should NOT BE REDSHIRTED.

Special teams kick-off returns, we got the ball to the 9 or 11 yard all night long. Nice.

What kind of special teams’ coaching is that ?

We allowed a 56 yard field goal against us, LOSING by 4 touchdowns.

I presume our “coaching staff” did not feel that we should be trying to block that 1 with AJ Green.

Interviewed Coach Richt at half time and they ask how do they get AJ Green more involved in the offense. Coach Richt says throw the ball to him more. Excuse me, who is the offensive coordinator any more for this team, Coach Richt since that is YOUR STOCK IN TRADE for your CALLING, sir.

4-4.

UNRANKED.

Every team starting 1997 for UGA has been ranked in the Final AP Poll Top 25.

NOT THIS YEAR.

NOT that we should have been ranked in the Final AP Poll Top 25 in 2001, in 2006, in 2008, and in 2009.

Coach Richt says that our FANS DO NOT KNOW.

Fans of UGA number the 5th most in the nation who spend the 3rd most on team gear and we get this “coaching staff” the average Number 6 recruiting ranking by EVERY SOURCE including Rivals and Scout.com.

We travel better than every team in the nation.

BUT WE DO NOT KNOW, Coach Richt whines after EVERY LOSS.

So, he sends his players out there in an us against the world mentality and NO GAME PLAN. Instead, he is OFF WATCHING HIS SON play Division III football.

5 touchdowns, half of his total in his career, every year scored against UGA by Tim Tebow. 1 player on their entire team to defend against. And, he scores 4 more touchdowns against us this year.

NOT A CARE IN THE WORLD.

Take your furlough day off and your “coaching staff” and then go watch Division III football games out of state, instead of figuring it out how you have a LOSING RECORD against top teams and a LOSING RECORD against 2 teams from The SEC East and The SEC West in your 8 years and 8 weeks here in the Coach Richt Era of WORTHLESS “coaching staff.”

4 of 12 on 3rd down conversions by the offensive offense. On 3rd and long the announcers are left saying, the reason why UGA is calling a running play (WITHOUT A RUNNING BACK) is that they are AFRAID to ask their 4 Top 10 Quarterbacks in the nation to throw the ball downfield.

Yank Joe Cox whom Coach Richt has repeatedly said is HIS QUARTERBACK. Really Coach Richt, have you coached him yourself 1 damn minute in his 5 years here ? Doesn’t look like it.

Put in another Top 10 Quarterback, also not coached, and he throws the football 3 yards from his end zone to the best player on Florida’s defense. Not a receiver for UGA in the picture.

Nice.

At least we can put to rest that the NEXT COACHING STAFF at my alma mater can move along to Aaron Murray and forget this crap that we have coached and brought along Logan Gray with his 1 play for 3 games experience, all running plays.

At least we got Logan Gray in there to find that out.

Now.

Aaron Murray will play here what ?

2 years like Knowshon Moreno.

Logan Gray zero for 3 on passes, with a PICK 6 interception and a SACK.

Great coaching to finally let him play in a game, Coach Richt.

Jerk.

3 passes.

We threw 3 passes to AJ Green.

We tried a 4th pass, out of 70 plays, but it was into quad coverage. 4 Florida players man on man against AJ Green on the play. A 5th who jumped up trying to disrupt the pass in flight before it got to him and a 6th who was just to the left of that defender. And, we threw the ball to him anyway.

Nice play call their Coach Richt, who has MADE HIS CALLING in THIS WORLD as play caller, offensive coordinator and Quarterbacks’ Coach.

Only had 4 punts.

That is an improvement.

We are like a Vandy now, where our best player is visibly our DAMN PUNTER.

Only had 4 punts, because we never had the ball because we lead the nation in penalties playing BAD BOYS and therefore cannot sustain a drive, and because we lead the nation in turnovers and don’t have to punt when you turn the football over every series on offense.

But, of course, it is just Willie Martinez who has to go.

B.S.

17 wins 20 LOSSES against Final AP Poll Top 25 teams that year we played them in the Coach Richt Era.

15-17 LOSING RECORD against LSU, Auburn, vols and Florida combined in Coach Richt Era.

Until UGA gets their discipline in line, they will continue to struggle by “shooting oneself in the foot” mentality. Over 80 yards in penalties in the 1st half is not a sign of a structured team. As stated before the game, Defense wins championships and UGA lacks in defensive tutors.

Disappointed Georgia football fans suffer greatly from their own delusional expectations, which conflict with the reality of what their team has actually produced on the field over this past college football season.

University of Georgia Football fans also have unrealistic expectations about their chances for success against the Florida Gators, when it is clear from their record against this foe over the past several decades that they have had very little success.

It is my recommendation that Georgia fans, to eliminate the pain of unmet expectations, should come to grip with reality and accept the fact that their program is in a state of utter disarray. They should no longer expect to win tough games against rival SEC opponents like the Florida Gators, LSU Tigers, Alabama Rolling Tide, or Tennessee Volunteers (or Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, for that matter) so as to more accurately reflect the actual reality of the modern college football landscape.

It is in this way that the Georgia Football Fan can manage the pain that comes with losing on a consistent basis.

By lowering their unrealistic expectations the Georgia Football Fan can ease the pain associated with frequent losing, which, over time, would allow the Georgia Football Fan to more thoroughly enjoy a quality win, should the Georgia Football program ever again experience one. It would be comparable to the surprise one feels upon receiving an unexpected gift.

A couple of weeks ago he made some dumb comment about why the penalties were OK. Never heard that out of a coaches mouth before- at any level. This program is in serious trouble – - any wonder Stafford and Moreno got the hell out of there? – - AJ will be next to jump ship; I would too if I were him

How many times has Joe Pa tried the “helmet color” trick?? or any other gimmick, they don’t work. Effective solid coaching works. Coaching needs to be addressed. CMR has to make some changes.

Fellow fans of the Dawgs…I say to you we have bigger problems ahead of us. Not this year. It is lost.
But next year. We have NO QB…to start with.
CMR in his infinite delusional wisdom has kept Cox as our “hope” …at best it would have been a 1 year hope for victory…Now we have to face 2010 with no one in the QB bullpen. CMR gave Cox his “chance” because he was a good guy waiting waiting waiting behind Staff. Why? Because he was living his personal (CMR) experience through Cox! Sad, this nostalgic wimp who waits 3 games before voicing concern to refs, who waits 4 years to find out that the loyal COX is a LOX…to wait 1 season to STOP those dumb azz directional kicks (funny how Walsh could put it deep into the EZ when allowed–and leg is developed for that strategy)….a coach who gives a FULL scholarship to a kicker who he has never seen in person….only on tape…who isn’t even know by the kicking camps like Chris Sailor….a coach who keeps his old college chum on board when it is clear he has lost the plot….a coach who will NOT fight for 1 second on the clock to give the team a final chance.

Yes fellow fans we have a problem. It is not this year…it is next year and it is CMR! He is living in the era of gentlemen’s football…but you know what? There was never such an era. It’s a business and we need to pay the bills and WIN.

The AD of Georgia needs to have a sit down with CMR and mess that pretty (thinning) hair.

Richt, of course, knew we would lose yesterday and he seemed OK with that throughout the game. Just watching our players, one could tell they were painfully aware of it, too. I don’t think the black helmets fooled them one bit or gave them any thought that we might could stay in the game with the Gators.

I believe years ago that Bobby Bowden had a converstion with Richt while he was still at FSU. He probably said something like, “Mark, if you ever want to be head coach her at FSU one day after I retire, you need to go somewhere for a few years and get some head coaching experinece because you don’t have any. I think you should take that UGA job for a few years, get their team to winning and being highly ranked, then everyone here will admire you and you can come back to FSU as head coach. You won’t have to be there long…..just a few years and then you can come back home”.

Well of course that’s what he did but he’s been here longer than he planned and can’t get back home to FSU. FSU supporters saw he wasn’t doing too well at UGA and turned their attention to Fisher as the new head coach at FSU leaving Richt stuck at UGA. Now he’s stuck here and is just wallowing in the muck he has created and doesn’t know what the do about it or how to get back to the state of Florida. Guess we are stuck with him too……..but maybe somebody will have the gonads to do something about it.

And by the way….I never thought I’d say this….but where is old Saint Simons?? I haven’t seen him around lately. Kinda getting worried about annoying Tech nerd! Maybe he can’t find his way back from Nashville…..good!!

Georgia Tech cannot beat UGA in football.

Instead, it is LOSS number 60 to UGA in football by Georgia Tech.

Now, back to what we are saying, Georgia Tech plays a WORSE schedule than Florida and Alabama do.

There isn’t any team in the ACC.

All cupcake conference.

Coach Richt, just leave.

someone in athens needs to do a complete evaluation of the the problem and stop worrying about the brand as mr. evans has stated.
the bland is now going down the tube with this football team and the scheduling is nor never has been an issue until mr. evans started screwing around with it this year.that started the mess by going to a ‘GOD FORSAKEN” place like stillwater okla to play.

maybe- someone needs to look not only at the football coaches but damon evans as well! where is vince dooley when we need him?

Every team has an off year. Look at TN and AU last year, Tech for the last 8 or 9 years, and now it’s our turn. It just happens but I agree, it’s time to clean house. You can’t have 10 win seasons in the SEC and go far. In the ACC or Big Ten you can, but not in the SEC.

BR

Just keep in mind that the Nerds have no experience with winning, so they don’t know how to be classy about it. Give them a break. They play in the ACC for starters.. a HORRIBLY weak conference. They are tied or losing to Vandy for three out of four quarters, get their a** beat by Miami, then barely beat VA Tech who then lose to crappy UNC. They’re not used to having a winning season, so they just don’t know how to act. (They also apparently don’t know how to buy tickets to go see their team play… just look at the dump they play in each week… always empty seats.)

Here’s my layman’s opinion. I love Mark Richt, but yesterday and the last 2 seasons in general have been a total breakdown in coaching. So, from the peanut gallery, here’s my 2 cents. We need to spend some money to hire a tough son of a gun DC (ala Van Gorder) and make him asst head coach to support Mark and allow him to focus on calling offensive plays again, since that’s his background.

Bottom line – the program needs an organizational overhaul. I understand the calls for it to start from the top, but I really think Coach Richt is a quality guy and I’d like him to be part of the solution. However, my support for him comes with the caveat that he has to show the willingness to change and make some tough decisions.

This season has been a joke. We really need to get a disciplinarian between the hedges. The players are not focused and ready to play. They are never in the right position to make any plays at all. I don’t know why everyone is complaining now, this has been going on for the past three seasons. Martinez should have never gotten the job in the first place. Bobo should have never gotten promoted to OC. Richt is the answer in Athens but he needs a great Assistants to help this team in a hurry. Richt also needs to get some guys in to coach the position that these guys are playing. How are you gonna have a former receiver coach the running backs. I’ma former wide receiver in college ball and I can tell you that B-Mac has no idea what to tell or show those guys how to play the position. Also would help these players focus is a curfew. if they can stay out of the club on Thursday nites maybe they can focus on the game. I know people think how can you say all of this and you’ve never playes a down. Well I have played a down in college, won 4 conference championships and 1 national titile, and started three years at wideout. So I know a lil bit of what is happening. It’s a rebuilding year true enough, but 4-4 is unacceptable for ATHENS!!!!!!!!!!

The season is lost. There is no use crying now. Georgia had problems last year. But last year georgia had the players to coverup poor coaching. Something else is going on in athens that we don’t know about. IF georgia wants to complete for a national champtionship, then stop allowing players you owe favors to, to play who can’t play. mark richt needs to take control of this mess before next season.

I will say this one more time. Mark Richt is no in control of this mess. Other people (Alumni) are calling the shots. Why else would Mark richt keep starting Joe Cox? Why else would he allow Mike BoBo to call plays that JOE Cox can’t complete? Willie Martinez is the worst defensive Cooridinator since 1920. Georgia Tech fans enjoy it while it last. Because if Georgia loses to Tennessee, Flordia, Auburn, and you in the same year. The coach will made sure he wins these games by hook or crook.

The next coach will win by hook or crook. The next coach not this one. Mark richt is a honorable man, SEC is the wrong conference for honorable men. YOU need a heartless coach who won’t play a guy who waited four years just to play. Or fire men who either played for georgia or has ties to georgia who can’t coach. Find that type of coach and georgia will win a national champtionship.

Offensive gameplan I thought was pretty good, we just don’t have a qb who can execute it for an entire game. Defensively I thought the d-line did a pretty good job, but as usual we can’t cover, who coaches db’s again? Clearly the db’s are smart enough to run a zone, stick them man to man and hope for the best, it can’t be any worse. Special teams were great.

I have been following Ga. football since the 1970’s. This has to be the worse coached team I have ever seen at UGA. The defense is an embarassment. The defense has gone down hill since the loss to West Virginia in the Peach Bowl. I have never seen a team with less discipline. The Dawgs haven’nt been a fundamentally sound team in years. The defensive linemen and linebackers all look out of shape, fat and slow. None of the defensive backs make plays on the ball at any time. It is an embarassment. If Damon Evans doesn’t demand changes on the coaching staff, along with a new strenght and conditioning coach it will cost him his job. The basketball program is also a joke with all the talent in the State of Georgia to pull from. Fire both coordinators, hire someone to get the players in shape and give CMR a year to get the program turned around. CMR is comfortable and needs to be shaken up. Stop putting your money in the athletic department until you see some improvement and fundamental changes.
