How many times has Joe Pa tried the “helmet color” trick?? or any other gimmick, they don’t work. Effective solid coaching works. Coaching needs to be addressed. CMR has to make some changes.

Fellow fans of the Dawgs…I say to you we have bigger problems ahead of us. Not this year. It is lost.
But next year. We have NO QB…to start with.
CMR in his infinite delusional wisdom has kept Cox as our “hope” …at best it would have been a 1 year hope for victory…Now we have to face 2010 with no one in the QB bullpen. CMR gave Cox his “chance” because he was a good guy waiting waiting waiting behind Staff. Why? Because he was living his personal (CMR) experience through Cox! Sad, this nostalgic wimp who waits 3 games before voicing concern to refs, who waits 4 years to find out that the loyal COX is a LOX…to wait 1 season to STOP those dumb azz directional kicks (funny how Walsh could put it deep into the EZ when allowed–and leg is developed for that strategy)….a coach who gives a FULL scholarship to a kicker who he has never seen in person….only on tape…who isn’t even know by the kicking camps like Chris Sailor….a coach who keeps his old college chum on board when it is clear he has lost the plot….a coach who will NOT fight for 1 second on the clock to give the team a final chance.

Yes fellow fans we have a problem. It is not this year…it is next year and it is CMR! He is living in the era of gentlemen’s football…but you know what? There was never such an era. It’s a business and we need to pay the bills and WIN.

The AD of Georgia needs to have a sit down with CMR and mess that pretty (thinning) hair.

Stop trying to blame the coach!!! Georgia is a bad team with bad players.Once Georgia gets better players then you will like your coach again.

Most embarassing loss ever. can you imagine the embarassment that is to follow? TN Tech seems like a winner but the other games look like toss ups. things will be all better when we beat the insects in NOV. at least were still the best team in the state. lets where the black hats & britches against yech to get the bad karma off them – we need a win!

Shame on Mark Richt , and shame on Damon Evans for keeping him .

Richt, of course, knew we would lose yesterday and he seemed OK with that throughout the game. Just watching our players, one could tell they were painfully aware of it, too. I don’t think the black helmets fooled them one bit or gave them any thought that we might could stay in the game with the Gators.

I believe years ago that Bobby Bowden had a converstion with Richt while he was still at FSU. He probably said something like, “Mark, if you ever want to be head coach her at FSU one day after I retire, you need to go somewhere for a few years and get some head coaching experinece because you don’t have any. I think you should take that UGA job for a few years, get their team to winning and being highly ranked, then everyone here will admire you and you can come back to FSU as head coach. You won’t have to be there long…..just a few years and then you can come back home”.

Well of course that’s what he did but he’s been here longer than he planned and can’t get back home to FSU. FSU supporters saw he wasn’t doing too well at UGA and turned their attention to Fisher as the new head coach at FSU leaving Richt stuck at UGA. Now he’s stuck here and is just wallowing in the muck he has created and doesn’t know what the do about it or how to get back to the state of Florida. Guess we are stuck with him too……..but maybe somebody will have the gonads to do something about it.

And by the way….I never thought I’d say this….but where is old Saint Simons?? I haven’t seen him around lately. Kinda getting worried about annoying Tech nerd! Maybe he can’t find his way back from Nashville…..good!!

Georgia Tech cannot beat UGA in football.

Instead, it is LOSS number 60 to UGA in football by Georgia Tech.

Now, back to what we are saying, Georgia Tech plays a WORSE schedule than Florida and Alabama do.

There isn’t any team in the ACC.

All cupcake conference.

Coach Richt, just leave.

…and take your hopeless college roommates and buddies on your “coaching staff” all with you.

Fire the entire “coaching staff” and fire profit is all I care about Damon Evans.

Then, get UGA out of the Gator Bowl every November.

If you want to play a game in the state of Florida somewhere, go to Clearwater and play Vandy there every year.

it will be interesting to see what damon evans will do now that he has his first major blow-up with the athletic department and no the basketball change was a none event.

someone in athens needs to do a complete evaluation of the the problem and stop worrying about the brand as mr. evans has stated.
the bland is now going down the tube with this football team and the scheduling is nor never has been an issue until mr. evans started screwing around with it this year.that started the mess by going to a ‘GOD FORSAKEN” place like stillwater okla to play.

maybe- someone needs to look not only at the football coaches but damon evans as well! where is vince dooley when we need him?

Every team has an off year. Look at TN and AU last year, Tech for the last 8 or 9 years, and now it’s our turn. It just happens but I agree, it’s time to clean house. You can’t have 10 win seasons in the SEC and go far. In the ACC or Big Ten you can, but not in the SEC.

BR

Just keep in mind that the Nerds have no experience with winning, so they don’t know how to be classy about it. Give them a break. They play in the ACC for starters.. a HORRIBLY weak conference. They are tied or losing to Vandy for three out of four quarters, get their a** beat by Miami, then barely beat VA Tech who then lose to crappy UNC. They’re not used to having a winning season, so they just don’t know how to act. (They also apparently don’t know how to buy tickets to go see their team play… just look at the dump they play in each week… always empty seats.)

Here’s my layman’s opinion. I love Mark Richt, but yesterday and the last 2 seasons in general have been a total breakdown in coaching. So, from the peanut gallery, here’s my 2 cents. We need to spend some money to hire a tough son of a gun DC (ala Van Gorder) and make him asst head coach to support Mark and allow him to focus on calling offensive plays again, since that’s his background.

Bottom line – the program needs an organizational overhaul. I understand the calls for it to start from the top, but I really think Coach Richt is a quality guy and I’d like him to be part of the solution. However, my support for him comes with the caveat that he has to show the willingness to change and make some tough decisions.

This season has been a joke. We really need to get a disciplinarian between the hedges. The players are not focused and ready to play. They are never in the right position to make any plays at all. I don’t know why everyone is complaining now, this has been going on for the past three seasons. Martinez should have never gotten the job in the first place. Bobo should have never gotten promoted to OC. Richt is the answer in Athens but he needs a great Assistants to help this team in a hurry. Richt also needs to get some guys in to coach the position that these guys are playing. How are you gonna have a former receiver coach the running backs. I’ma former wide receiver in college ball and I can tell you that B-Mac has no idea what to tell or show those guys how to play the position. Also would help these players focus is a curfew. if they can stay out of the club on Thursday nites maybe they can focus on the game. I know people think how can you say all of this and you’ve never playes a down. Well I have played a down in college, won 4 conference championships and 1 national titile, and started three years at wideout. So I know a lil bit of what is happening. It’s a rebuilding year true enough, but 4-4 is unacceptable for ATHENS!!!!!!!!!!

The season is lost. There is no use crying now. Georgia had problems last year. But last year georgia had the players to coverup poor coaching. Something else is going on in athens that we don’t know about. IF georgia wants to complete for a national champtionship, then stop allowing players you owe favors to, to play who can’t play. mark richt needs to take control of this mess before next season.

what i think needs to happen is we have to go back to the junk yard dog D the defence UGA runs now is to soft we they need to get mean and nasty have all out blitz . Also need to get CWM and bring in Kirby Smart or coach Will Muschamp. But if CMR does not clean house then fire him and get the Boise State coach

Haw haw haw. If any of you dawg sumbichs were told 20 years ago that UGA was going to win 3 out of the next 20, every one of you would have said “No fggin way!”. Well, it’s happened and it’s probably going to be a few more years before you ugly turd-tapping sumbiches win again. Florida is your worst nightmare! That’s what you get for all those smart ass jokes back in the 70’s and 80’s. I just hope I live long enough to see you all go 3-17 for the next 20 years! Lets see, we’ve run off Ray Goff, Jim Donnan, and Mark Richt – who will be next?

WCJ

I will say this one more time. Mark Richt is no in control of this mess. Other people (Alumni) are calling the shots. Why else would Mark richt keep starting Joe Cox? Why else would he allow Mike BoBo to call plays that JOE Cox can’t complete? Willie Martinez is the worst defensive Cooridinator since 1920. Georgia Tech fans enjoy it while it last. Because if Georgia loses to Tennessee, Flordia, Auburn, and you in the same year. The coach will made sure he wins these games by hook or crook.

The next coach will win by hook or crook. The next coach not this one. Mark richt is a honorable man, SEC is the wrong conference for honorable men. YOU need a heartless coach who won’t play a guy who waited four years just to play. Or fire men who either played for georgia or has ties to georgia who can’t coach. Find that type of coach and georgia will win a national champtionship.

Offensive gameplan I thought was pretty good, we just don’t have a qb who can execute it for an entire game. Defensively I thought the d-line did a pretty good job, but as usual we can’t cover, who coaches db’s again? Clearly the db’s are smart enough to run a zone, stick them man to man and hope for the best, it can’t be any worse. Special teams were great.

We need coaching changes now, not at the end of the season. If CMR waits until the season is over to make a change (major change) then CMR needs to go and we can get a coach that can lead a team to a consistent victory.

CMR you need to put together a top rate coaching staff because UGA fans are tired of loosing to the likes of Florida,Tenn, Alabama…
