No, not living in the past, just trying to make a point to you.
However I think it may be to compilicated for you to understand. So let me make it simple.
A dawg is mans best friend, and a yellow jacket will always be a pest. And 1 win does not make a successful program.
Keep in mind UGA beat Vandy 34-10, you have your hands full with a back up QB.

The program coaching is totally unacceptable. Consider this: UGA is second in the nation, next to Texas, as having the NCAA largest budget; UGA has the fifth largest stadium in the nation and fans fill it up, year after year; it’s reported every year that UGA recruiting class is in the top 10. QUESTION? Why are we not more competitive each year, notwithstanding our past record? UGA seems to NEVER WIN the absolutely key “must win” games to compete for the SEC title. I’m not only disappointed but rather embarrassed and something must be done to correct the situation. Finally, the decision to keep the games in Jacksonville is stupid and reasons for the same are SUSPECT!! We lose money, games, and respect anyway you examine the situation.

Boyz, don’t be fooling yourself. Look at the facts. Bozo and Willie the Clown are helpers to the Preacher Man. They’re the assistants. The manager, the chief, the boss man is Richt. He’s the one that’s making so much money that he has to pay an accountant to count it and invest it in tax sheltered offshort stuff. You Dawgs saying that Bozo and Willie need to go are drinking the Koolaid. The fish rots from the head down. Preacher Man gotta go and each week he stays we go further below sea level…

Let me make it simple for you. 1 National Championship in 30 years also does not make you a football powerhouse either. Tech has won as many as UGA has in that time span! As I said, UGA is on the way down, and will continue its slide while Paul Johnson is running a winning program at Tech.

I do not know if we can take any more of this defensive coaching philosophy. We had two weeks to get ready for this offense and still did not look like we knew what to do. I am ready for a new scheme, a new defensive look, something has got to change. We couldn’t even defense Johnathan Crumptom, do you think we would have a chance against Tim Tebo. I know Richt and Martinez are good friends, but this is getting really bad. It is embarassing.

UGA Fans Quit using the excuse of losing your QB and RB to the draft…Alabama lost their QB and RB and look how their program has improved….Mark Richt has to go…It took Georgia Tech many years go realize Chan Gailey couldnt get the job done…I think it’s time for UGA to realize Mark Richt can’t get the job done…Mark Richt is too soft..Every time the camera shows him on the sidelines he looks clueless. When the Ga players make a mistake or have penalties.. Mark Richt calls them to the sideline and comforts them like he’s a mom..Coach Mark Richt needs to go to a Nick Saban Coaching Workshop.

You can’t have the penalties UGA has every game and expect to win. Even with superior athletes, you can’t overcome stupid penalties all game long. Stupid penalties = poor coaching. The coordinators are responsible for the poor coaching on offense and defense. However, the head coach is responsible for making changes to put a disciplined team in place. So far, Richt has relied on better athletes. Now he can’t and the subpar coaching is beginning to shine through.

Good God UGA. Y’all had two weeks to practice! Did yall even use a football. Does your brains not even retain any of the information passed on to you, you should be able to remember bits and pieces: if you were given any info; these fouls that yall constantly and repededly commit, were penalities in highschool also please stop. Why on Gods green earth would you dance about a play when your behind; put the ball down and go play some more football you not upstageing anyone when your losing. Your just showing everyone how big of an idiot you are on national T.V. Bottom line get you bone heads out of your jockstraps and at least try to play GEORGIA FOOTBALL. David Pollack you and David Green are not that far removed from Ga. football call a team meeting and give this zoo they call a football team a refresher course in stepping up and playing smart, hardnosed football. You might get a job as an assistant coach you two can’t be any worse than the ones they have on the payroll right now. Anyway better luck next week lets try not to make it as painful as it was today. Today is Halloween right I could tell cause them Gators shore are skerry.

Black helmets and black pants are BUSH LEAGUE and should not be put in mothballs, but burned in the hottest bonfire that can be built. That is Florida State and Florida crap, wearing a uniform of the week with different color combinations. Our helmets are red, our home jerseys are red, our pants are silver, our road jerseys are white, NO EXCEPTIONS. Playing games with our uniforms is something that belongs in a city recreation league, not a major Division 1 program. Instead of the players attire, the head coach needs to be DRESSING DOWN the Defensive Coordinator!!!!!!!!

Okay-Joe Cox got his dream granted to be the UGA QB. But now it’s turning into a nightmare for the rest of us! At what point does Coach Richt sit Cox and start someone who will be here longer then one season. Sorry Joe-but you got to go!! Let’s start getting ready for next season because this one is pretty much over. Don’t you know the folks who thought it was a joke rating UGA #1 last year are just loving this. Come on Coach-do the right thing.

The endzone/sideline celebration color scheme thing is getting stale. The black helmets were ugly….but the sad truth is, its CMR and this coaching staff that has become ugly and stale…what’s the record now under CMR against Fla, LSU, ALA, and Ten?..not to mention a probable second defeat in a row against Tech yet to come…a Halloween nightmare….

Lame black helmets.
Lame coaching staff.
Lame offensive play calling.
Lame defensive game plan; for God’s sake, they only have 1 player to defend against.
Alabama and Florida continue on at Number 1 and Number 2 in the nation.
LSU won again, has only 1 LOSS still, and also is CONSIDERABLY better than UGA in the Coach Richt Era.
Texas undefeated and the best football program in the Coach Richt Era.
Boise State won again and clearly is a better football program than UGA in the Coach Richt Era.
Southern California LOST and is still 10 fewer LOSSES than UGA in the Coach Richt Era.
Oklahoma won again, and is still way better than UGA in the Coach Richt Era.
Ohio State won again, and is still way better than UGA in the Coach Richt Era.
Average Number 6 Recruiting Class according to Rivals and Scout.com in Coach Richt Era because the state of Georgia has the 4th most high school football players who go on to the NFL.
WORST “coaching staff” in the nation by far. A lame group of college roommates and buddies who sit around and pray together, but are clueless on offense, special teams and defense; and frankly on recruiting positions which are huge glaring holes on our teams every single year of Coach Richt Era.
41-17.
Abysmal.
Special teams, we cannot even line up 11 players on a field goal try by our “Rival.”
Special teams, we did not even try to field a punt all night long.
Out-rushed 2 to 1.
Again.
LEAD THE NATION IN PENALTIES of all 120 teams.
Coach Richt says “when I was at Florida State, we led the nation in penalties, every year and we did alright.”
Sorry “coaching” of our boys.
The real shame is we have some real talent on this team. Players who will play in the NFL.
You’d NEVER KNOW IT, watching them play here the way we “coach” them.
121 arrests and suspensions in the Coach Richt Era. 2 more this week, Georgia week, our “Rival” Florida calls it. Coach Richt didn’t even SUSPEND 1 of the 2 arrested THIS WEEK.
LEAD THE NATION IN TURNOVERS of all 120 teams.
Our players tackle and throw down their opponents, standing beyond the 5 foot white out-of-bounds lines LOSING by 4 touchdowns.
Our players can not even be told which 11 are supposed to be on the field against a field goal try.
Our players get up after a play is over and hit, push, shove, jaw at our opponents and have no respect for anything but looking like a bunch of thugs who are poor sports.
We purposely knock down our Opponents’ Heisman Trophy Quarterback AFTER THE PLAY IS WHISTLED DEAD without him even having the football. 5 seconds after the play would have been legal.
EMBARRASSING.
We run players out there willy-nilly like in Week 8 we do NOT YET KNOW who should be our running back. Take the redshirt off 1 of the running backs touted as 1 of the top in the nation, in week 6 with 3 quarters of the game OVER. Before that, we got to watch KNOWSHON MORENO play only 2 years here before the NFL took him with the Number 7 pick in the 1st Round. But, our “offensive coaches” cannot figure out that he should NOT BE REDSHIRTED.
Special teams kick-off returns, we got the ball to the 9 or 11 yard all night long. Nice.
What kind of special teams’ coaching is that ?
We allowed a 56 yard field goal against us, LOSING by 4 touchdowns.
I presume our “coaching staff” did not feel that we should be trying to block that 1 with AJ Green.
Interviewed Coach Richt at half time and they ask how do they get AJ Green more involved in the offense. Coach Richt says throw the ball to him more. Excuse me, who is the offensive coordinator any more for this team, Coach Richt since that is YOUR STOCK IN TRADE for your CALLING, sir.
4-4.
UNRANKED.
Every team starting 1997 for UGA has been ranked in the Final AP Poll Top 25.
NOT THIS YEAR.
NOT that we should have been ranked in the Final AP Poll Top 25 in 2001, in 2006, in 2008, and in 2009.
Coach Richt says that our FANS DO NOT KNOW.
Fans of UGA number the 5th most in the nation who spend the 3rd most on team gear and we get this “coaching staff” the average Number 6 recruiting ranking by EVERY SOURCE including Rivals and Scout.com.
We travel better than every team in the nation.
BUT WE DO NOT KNOW, Coach Richt whines after EVERY LOSS.
So, he sends his players out there in an us against the world mentality and NO GAME PLAN. Instead, he is OFF WATCHING HIS SON play Division III football.
5 touchdowns, half of his total in his career, every year scored against UGA by Tim Tebow. 1 player on their entire team to defend against. And, he scores 4 more touchdowns against us this year.
NOT A CARE IN THE WORLD.
Take your furlough day off and your “coaching staff” and then go watch Division III football games out of state, instead of figuring it out how you have a LOSING RECORD against top teams and a LOSING RECORD against 2 teams from The SEC East and The SEC West in your 8 years and 8 weeks here in the Coach Richt Era of WORTHLESS “coaching staff.”
4 of 12 on 3rd down conversions by the offensive offense. On 3rd and long the announcers are left saying, the reason why UGA is calling a running play (WITHOUT A RUNNING BACK) is that they are AFRAID to ask their 4 Top 10 Quarterbacks in the nation to throw the ball downfield.
Yank Joe Cox whom Coach Richt has repeatedly said is HIS QUARTERBACK. Really Coach Richt, have you coached him yourself 1 damn minute in his 5 years here ? Doesn’t look like it.
Put in another Top 10 Quarterback, also not coached, and he throws the football 3 yards from his end zone to the best player on Florida’s defense. Not a receiver for UGA in the picture.
Nice.
At least we can put to rest that the NEXT COACHING STAFF at my alma mater can move along to Aaron Murray and forget this crap that we have coached and brought along Logan Gray with his 1 play for 3 games experience, all running plays.
At least we got Logan Gray in there to find that out.
Now.
Aaron Murray will play here what ?
2 years like Knowshon Moreno.
Logan Gray zero for 3 on passes, with a PICK 6 interception and a SACK.
Great coaching to finally let him play in a game, Coach Richt.
Jerk.
3 passes.
We threw 3 passes to AJ Green.
We tried a 4th pass, out of 70 plays, but it was into quad coverage. 4 Florida players man on man against AJ Green on the play. A 5th who jumped up trying to disrupt the pass in flight before it got to him and a 6th who was just to the left of that defender. And, we threw the ball to him anyway.
Nice play call their Coach Richt, who has MADE HIS CALLING in THIS WORLD as play caller, offensive coordinator and Quarterbacks’ Coach.
Only had 4 punts.
That is an improvement.
We are like a Vandy now, where our best player is visibly our DAMN PUNTER.
Only had 4 punts, because we never had the ball because we lead the nation in penalties playing BAD BOYS and therefore cannot sustain a drive, and because we lead the nation in turnovers and don’t have to punt when you turn the football over every series on offense.
But, of course, it is just Willie Martinez who has to go.
B.S.
17 wins 20 LOSSES against Final AP Poll Top 25 teams that year we played them in the Coach Richt Era.
15-17 LOSING RECORD against LSU, Auburn, vols and Florida combined in Coach Richt Era.

Until UGA gets their discipline in line, they will continue to struggle by “shooting oneself in the foot” mentality. Over 80 yards in penalties in the 1st half is not a sign of a structured team. As stated before the game, Defense wins championships and UGA lacks in defensive tutors.

Disappointed Georgia football fans suffer greatly from their own delusional expectations, which conflict with the reality of what their team has actually produced on the field over this past college football season.
University of Georgia Football fans also have unrealistic expectations about their chances for success against the Florida Gators, when it is clear from their record against this foe over the past several decades that they have had very little success.
It is my recommendation that Georgia fans, to eliminate the pain of unmet expectations, should come to grip with reality and accept the fact that their program is in a state of utter disarray. They should no longer expect to win tough games against rival SEC opponents like the Florida Gators, LSU Tigers, Alabama Rolling Tide, or Tennessee Volunteers (or Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, for that matter) so as to more accurately reflect the actual reality of the modern college football landscape.
It is in this way that the Georgia Football Fan can manage the pain that comes with losing on a consistent basis.
By lowering their unrealistic expectations the Georgia Football Fan can ease the pain associated with frequent losing, which, over time, would allow the Georgia Football Fan to more thoroughly enjoy a quality win, should the Georgia Football program ever again experience one. It would be comparable to the surprise one feels upon receiving an unexpected gift.

Richt killed this program. I cant beleive things had to get to this point for him to say he needs to do something about penalties and turnovers. A couple of weeks ago he made some dumb comment about why the penalties were OK. Never heard that out of a coaches mouth before- at any level. This program is in serious trouble – - any wonder Stafford and Moreno got the hell out of there? – - AJ will be next to jump ship; I would too if I were him
