If Williams is out for the year, would give a #1 to the Raiders for Nnamdi Asamugha? He is supposedly on the block. Although he comes with a three year guaranteed contract.

Does anyone realize that the Falcons are 4-1 largely without any contribution from their most recent draft: Jerry (was improving every week but out for year); Moore (hurt and probably can’t beat out DeCoud); Owens (??? what happened to this guy).

As a huge UGA fan it was nice to see a game where the defense could wrap up its tackles. I found myself flinching every time a falcon defender made a play (expecting a gaffe) but after quarter of nice plays I realized this wasn’t Martinez’ Dawgs it was VanGorders Falcons. Wish he’d come back home. Nice fundamentals!

I’ve been a Falcons fan since 1966 and watched te first game against the Pack with a 56-3 score. We have come a long way. Thanks to AB and mike smith for giving us a team we can be proud of and with that WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE NEXT 2 GAMES!!!!!

Just read on one of the other sports sites that Williams is done for the year with a torn acl. Let’s hope Chevis can step up better than he did last night on that second td play by the tight end!

Another thriller with Chicago! Mistakes made on both sides but Falcons made the most of them. Winners do. It wasn’t real pretty but war in the trenches never is. Besides this isn’t college, all that counts are the wins at the end of the season.
Dare I say this is the year we break the streak!!!

For some odd reason is seemed the D rush did better with the four man front. When they get pressure it allows the secondary to tighten up the coverage. Good things happen pressuring the QB. Not real happy with the man to man coverage with the blitz package. gave up to much when in it. DB need to step it up another notch or management needs to upgrade the talent again. (Yes that’s a challenge to the players)

The next two games will be tough for different reasons. I believe that this team will take it one game at a time and take care of business. Good coached teams do this.

The D has improved every game. The Players are playing as a team and the Coaching is great, so take it a game at a time.

Now the Flying Falcons have got to go ride a Cowboy…….I’ll take the Falcons.
