dawgs4life. If you read, everyone puts the blame squarely on WM. That is just not accurate.

Coaching makes me sick. These players deserve better! Look how many are drafted by the NFL and are coached up…………

Where is the use of our Tight Ends, are they still on the team, our play action passes don’t scare anyone, because we have no running game, i’m afraid that our talent level may be down right now and what we do have is very young, also, the offensive line cannot open any holes for the backs, don’t know if that is coaching, but Coach Searles is one of the best, i think we have way overestimated our talent….

As a UGA grad, married to a UGA grad, and with two children that are UGA grads and most of my family, except for a couple of sad Ga Power engineers that went to tech and one to U of Fl, I am done with the UGA football program. Done. Last year was tough to take with Alabama and tech and Florida. This year is toast.

This season is headed for a 5-7 or 6-6 thing if lucky and until they FIRE the entire staff at UGA, I am done. They do not need my little $ contributions and that is fine with me. Done. We have kids that do not hustle, lack line speed and tackling skills, like Rennie Curran AGAIN GETTING BLOWN OUT OF HIS CLEATS on that U of T TD run. Disgusting, just like last week, when he blew the Charles Scott tackle.

My kids will tell me when UGA hires another staff. Done, like when I dumped the Falcons back in the ealry 80s and never regenerated for them, either. Done. I do not need it at my age.

Done with Richt and bobo and that clown martinez and by the way, who cares if Rodney Gardner leaves ????………he is the idiot that recruited these worthless down D linemen and to heck with Gardner. Let him go first!!!

Coach Richt, I’m not being critical but you made a name for yourself off of Jim Donnan’s players. Every year we hear about these “BLUE CHIP” recuits that we get. Where are they??? I will be a dawg fan until I die. With that said, we made UT look like a team that could compete for a National Championship, and Crompton look like a Heisman Trophy winner. Another point I would like to make is that Good Teams do the small things right, for example, Prince Miller fielding a punt on the 1 yard line, enough said. Our defense was out of position all day, we never covered the TE. And as for choices….. now Damon Evans has one. If CMR does not do what needs to be done. maybe he will.

How does that happen? This is the single worst overall performance in more than 10 years! Someone’s butt better be fired! At this point, I think everyone is eligible. Can we fire the entire coaching staff and just forfeit the rest of our games? Has a team ever done that?

Is there anyway we can make Joe Cox pay back the free tuition he’s gotten the last four year? That wasn’t worth it for us.

Omg!! I never thought in my entire life that CMR and company can be that bad!! Folks, Georgia is really really bad team, the coaches seem took last week off!!! what the hell is going on! I mean I watched Tennessee games and honestly I can tell you that Vandy has a better chance to score 20 pts on us than Tennessee!! how about 45! and where is the offense? a 53 yd field goal!! is that all Bobo? are you Fu**ing drunk? watch Saben and the tide and see how big the gap between us! I think hiring mediocre coaches start catching up with Richt. Im just waiting to hear his excuses and whaT kind of excuses he will use to cover up the horrible job by his coaches. Pathetic

it’s those darn refs. If they’d quit throwing their arms in the air after other teams cross the goal line, we might be able to win a game or two.

Choices…. was right. CMR first 4 years as UGA head coach 43 wins / 6 loses. Since then, 44-14. However since CWM took over the defense it has gone from averaging 12.4 points per game in CBVG last season to 34.3 last year.

Listen people, I think that we are all upset about how bad we are playing. Why don’t we all sit back, relax and hope we play better next week. If we lose to Vandy next then we can throw gasoline on that fire under CMR chair. And one more thing…. if UT looked that bad against Auburn, how bad is Auburn going to make us look? UGA has not looked this bad since Ray Goff was the coach.

Just thinking out loud here:
bench the seniors – all of them. senior leaderrship on this team is nonexistent anyway.
burn all the red shirts. play the freshman. what do we have to lose? are you afraid they will look lost? they will not know the plays? they might be out of position? they are not strong enough of technically sound enough to make tackles or blocks? get them some game experience. reset the bar. what they do is an upside to where we are. if you are not a freshman or a soph, have a seat.
Or how about we ask obama and congress to pass a stimulus package to kickstart the program? At least then Biden would come to town and talk about how great it is working and how pretty the coeds are and we could all sleep better at night.
Since none of that will happen, we can look forward to finishing last in the sec, losing to florida by at least 50 and having a quiet holiday season at home with family and friends watching winning programs play in the bowl games.

When Richt first came to Athens we had a big-hitting, sacking, high-motor defense combined with a strong running game and a spectacular play-action deep game.

Now our defense seems soft and timid. We have an all-NFL defensive line? Where’s the pressure? Where’s the creative blitzing? Where’s the picks?

As far as offense, the offensive line is underachieving, and our running backs don’t have that aggressive motor that the good ones have (see Moreno, Cadillac W., and T. Richardson).

Where in the heck is the vertical game? Our receiving corps is stocked talent-wise. Why aren’t we getting the ball to playmakers like Green and Orson Charles? All of the passes seemed to be soft and short , the proverbial dink and dunk that Bobo is so predictable with.

When Richt first arrived, we had a guy named Fred Gibson that gave us that deep vertical passing game that FSU was always renowned for. That’s why we brought CMR to Georgia.

HE was a guy that was an offensive titan from a program that consistently challenged the Gators for the national championship. When CMR was calling plays and Van Gorder was running the defense, we were awesome.

All of this being said, there’s still that huge question that makes you wonder about the state of the program. Tebow came back, Knowshon and Stafford opted for the millions.

That’s a key difference. David Greene and David Pollack would never even consider leaving a year early for the NFL, they would have stayed, and relished the opportunity for glory.

It seems that the main ingredient that’s missing is the lack of glory at Georgia. Not talent-wise, but attitude-wise.

If I was in a leadership position, I’d recommend spending some cash to bring in some coordinating superstars. Richt’s the CEO, so he has to make the tough decisions.

Do a statistical analysis…who’s the coordinator with the best performances against the country’s best teams? Go hire that guy.

Offensively, it seems like the spread is where it’s at. If we insist on running the pro set, then we need to have a big dominate offensive line that can shove some people around and make some holes, and we need a quarterback who can zing it around and not rely on high school plays.

I say get Aaron Murray on the field ASAP. This is now officially a rebuilding year, and so CMR can at least save some face by getting our youngin’s some reps.

All I want to do is PUKE, all over the entire coaching group but especially on Richt,
Wilie and Bobo. With all our outstanding recruits we should be undefeated.
What a mess. UGA football needs to take a cue from the ladies gymnastics team.
Our entire football program is in shambles andd Mr. Evans needs to make some firings that Mark is unable (see gutless) to make.

It’s time for some major changes. Now its time to go listen to how great Tebow is. I despise the Gators, but their probably gonna rip LSU a new one.

Coach Richt, ask yourself this: if Coach Bobo and / or Coach Martinez were at other schools and you had open positions to fill, would either be a candidate for you based on their performance over the past few years? I want the Dawgs to do well, and I appreciate the impact a decision like this will have on the coaching staff, players, recruits and everyones’ families. However, it is time.

I think we have to accept the fact that Richt is a good but not great coach. A great coach would have gotten rid of Martinez and Bobo a long time ago. It’s time to wipe the slate clean. Come on Evans, do your job and get us a coaching staff we can be proud of.

A total failure in every phase of the game with the exception of special teams. I have never seen a Georgia football team look so pathetic. No fire ,energy, pride !!!! Nothing. Made Tennessee look like world beaters. Poor pitiful coaching job. Absolutely had no clue offensively or defensively. Something has to change but it remains to be seen who’s going to step up and take charge and get it done. Congratulations CMR to you and your staff for a job well done!!! It looks like maybe the worst season in many years….

I am truly at a loss right now… I saw this one coming, but never thought we could be this bad. I can’t believe that we are getting worse. I think we all need to band together to get on Damon Evans and make him make the changes that Coach Richt will not. If Richt will not fire Bobo and Martinez at year end then he has to go too. Right now I would fire the entire staff except for Garner and Richt. We have to go get Van Gorder for Defense and I would look at paying Norm Chow a lot of money to come here… or, let’s just start over and throw a lot of money at Stoops, Cowher, Brian Kelly,or Jim Harbough.

CMR’s history is solid and I think this season will show him what he has to do for next year with our coaching staff. He will make the necessary changes. Auburn, Tenn and GT knows what it is like to have a disappointing season and this year we are having ours. No big deal.

The difference between Richt & Co. and other coaches like Meyer, Saban, Stoops, etc… is they actually coach and come up with a GAME PLAN based on the opponent. while Richt & Co. have a system, and players, opponents, weather all be d**ned they run the same tired “game plan/system” week after week. That’s why we’re so predictable.

What do Oklahoma St, S.Carolina, Arkansas, Arizona St, LSU and Tennesee all have in common?
NOTHING yet the Dawgs go out and play each team with the exact same game plan?!! No wrinkles, no adjustments, just “THE SYSTEM”. When it fails it’s not the coaches fault, oh no, it’s the PLAYERS’ lack of execution! It’s pure insanity in Athens, and we all know the definition of insanity, DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS.

Damon Evans if you’re listening or reading PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!! It is not fair to the players, fans or boosters to have to put up with this mediocracy!!!

GO DAWGS!!
