I was so Happy…..then so sad….I’m just plain sick right now!

Hate to say it but lets pull COx for logan and let’s get EArley the reps and build for next year.

Folks LSU ain’t that good….I’m convinced that with our reruiting classes we should be much better….we need new o and d coordinators!

To lose this game this way??????

Samuel and King are one yard specialists. Georgia highschool players are just as overrated as Georgia college players.

With the slate of games we have this year, a two loss season would have to be considered a success. However, being only five games into the season and already having two losses (with who we have still play), I am starting to believe bowl eligibility (six wins) is going to be a goal at some point this year.

UGA fans relax…it’s only a loss to the west. There are plenty teams would love to have Coach Richt and Bobo. Don’t run them away!!!

Not worried about penalties, LMAO. Poor coaching, poor tackling, sloppy play, poor play calling. All trademarks of the current coaching staff. Defense sucked in first half. If LSU’s offense wasn’t so bad the game would’ve been over at the half. Second half D played better, still you have to wonder if it was because LSU’s offense stinks. Crunch time, D crumbles. The only coach worse than CMR at managing a game has to be Les Miles.

CMR to loyal to marginal coaches and players. This is crazy, UGA will be luck to be in the top 30 after they lose to FL, Tech and Auburn.

I’m sick of this crap! Somebody has to do something, Bobo’s got to go, Martinez, has to go. If they don’t go then Richt has to go!

LSU D has been their strong side of the ball. Chavis is a good coach and Bobo had a big challenge today. Bobo made some good adjustments as the game went on and put Cox and the team in a position to win. I disagree with most everyone on here that thinks the D played well today. LSU O has not been very good this year. In the first half they drove down the field and before failing to put it in the endzone as a result of their own poor coaching and play. LSU O dropped passes, missed a number of easy throws and their O line is not very good at all. In the end, the D allowed a rather poor O go down the field not once, but twice in the fourth to win the game. This one is a whole team loss, but it more squarely lands on the D. With the D line UGA should have been able to do more. The only area of improvement that I saw was the number of turnovers. I would rather have had three turnovers and won the game.

And to the brainless surgeons who are still drinking kool-aid. Tech’s triple option beat our brains in last year!

Paul Johnson – Doing more with less. A disciplined team, a disciplined coach, real game plans! A novel concept. Why can’t CMR and his staff get more with more? Someone please answer that one for me!

The REFS stink in every game!!!! For every team!!!!! Can’t use that for an excuse, all teams have to deal with the Ref’s. Ref’s who blow calls, make bad calls, who think they’re part of the game when they should be invisible, who think its they’re job to be important.

The Ref’s are ruining football!!!!!! Are you watching Competition Committee? Do your job and let the players play, you numb skulls. This is football, not ballet!!!!!

Still its No Excuse for losing, ever!!!!!!

Last time UGA beat a top 5 opponent was in 2006 when they beat Auburn, so thats 2007 with out a win against a top 5 team. 2008, when ranked preseason #1, could not beat a top 5 opponent, 2009, still haven’t beaten a ranked opponent.

Its getting worse people, not better!

Cox deserves the opportunity to be the starting qb but I agree with others on this board and that it is time to let the other qb’s take some snaps. If we don’t, this time next year we will be saying that we wished we had a more experienced qb….this is a young team…a good team that will bet better…

Why are we not at least giving some snaps to Gray or Murray. Wouldn’t it make sense to get the QBs of the future some PT when Cox obviously does not “have it”? You can’t be thinking redshirt anymore. If a guy is any good he will only be there for 3 total years anyway (see Knowshown Moreno). The defense finally got some pressure on the QB. The pessimist in me says thats only because LSU’s O-Line was throwing up sick. Ealy looks like an upgrade at RB and Green IS Superman, on the bright side.

If we replace running backs with one who can move the ball (Ealey), why didn’t we do that with the QB? Clearly Cox was having a bad day, but no one else got a chance. I guess next week against Tennassee it will be 6-3 or 50-44, depending on which team shows up – and I certainly wouldn’t bet on who the winner might be.

Three comments::
(1) Why can’t they coach players not to celebrate, particularly when the score is close (almost all the time)?
(2) Why can’t the players know when to take a touchback, rather than run one out.
(3) When Smith comes into the offense, it’s gonna be a reverse; when Logan Grey comes in its gonna be a keeper – When either of the players comes in, they might as well tell the defense what is coming? The coaches must think the other team is really stupid!

Anyone who believes the Defense was anything outside of poor is delusional at best. Can we have a defense that plays in position, lines up on the ball in time to get off the ball at the snap, wrap up when tackling, and better yet can we maybe get creative with the blitzes….maybe bluff a linebacker and send a corner (the offense of the opponent always…ALWAYS makes the correct the adjustment in regard to sliding protection because we have NO imagination of Defense). When is the last time we can say Georgia has coached a player up? This is the absolute worst I’ve seen a Georgia team play……hands down.

LSU has the fastest man in college football. Does an intelligent team kick to him with a min left in the game ? Kick the ball out of bounds. This forces LSU to pass the ball to get the twenty yards needed for a FG. Too many gimick plays on offense with this kind of talent. Good news! The offensive line played their best game of the year. Our only hope is to outscore our opponents. We should go back to the no huddle that we ran a few years ago.

It’s very sad and wrong for the refs to call an “excessive celebratio” penalty when all the players did was jump up and be happy. If that is the case, then there would be a call like that after every good play. SHAME ON THE REFS – AND HOW MUCH DID YOU GET FOR MAKING A CALL LIKE THAT? I hope you made a lot and it was worth it to you because it is very disheartening to have a call like that made. Also, I do believe the ref who made that call should be fired. Let’s everyone call for that ref to be fired and never paid for refering a game again.

Coach Richt is one of the best things to ever happen to UGA. PERIOD. He runs a class organization.

The bottom line is that we have a VERY YOUNG football team. It is going to make mistakes.

Everyone that was going after WM is now going after BOBO. Now, you are going after Richt? Shut up. How short a memory you guys have. Remember Donnan and Goof, I mean Goff. Seriously. We are only two years removed from finishing 2nd in the country.

Winning a National Championship is very difficult. It takes a LOT of luck. I takes a lot of things going your way that you have no control over. If you take some of Richts best teams and move them up or back a year, then they are playing in the NC because one or two loss teams made it that year. That is why winning the SEC should be our goal. We’ve done that. If the football God’s smile down on us to play for a NC crown, then awesome. I still think that the Shockley lead team was one of the best teams ever at UGA. Had he not gotten hurt, we certainly would have beaten UG and AU that year. We would have been in the title game. UF has been fortunate that they have been healthy. Let’s see how they play if Tebow is hurt.

When the head coach says he is not concerned about penalties, because they had them at FSU, guess what you only played two games each year for 9 years that were a problems(Miami and Florida). The rest were like practice games.
