Rico…you need to take something to bring you down off your high man…a three point win over Georgia last year was an aberition….Georgia gave you the ball twice inside your own twenty yard line…a junior high team could have scored if they were spotted that advantage…Tech is not that good….get over it. You won’t win this year…..your gimmic offense has been exposed…everybody can’t wait to play Tech…your defense plays like school girls. Its going to be a long year on the flats!

Tech looked like the offense we ran when I was playing at New Hampshire (wink, wink). How pathetic was that. I didn’t think that everybody would figure out their gimmick little offense this quick but I guess that Paul Johnson had a good run. 9-3 isn’t bad even though they play in the ACC. I hope that Josh Nesbitt learns to read before the end of the year because that really would boost his confidence. I hope North Carolina takes it easy on Tech because attendance would get below 30,000 again. Well got to fill out some resumes.

Sorry about your loss Techies (heh heh heh)! But I’m not about to rub it in, unlike my fellow Dawgs, cause I know we have our share of problems, too. Funny how similar they seem to be now! Will make for an interesting match up when we meet you later on, now won’t it?? We both may have 4 or 5 losses by then!!

Miami’s offensive line was HOLDING on every play, no quarterback has that much time to in the pocket.

Enter your comments here : I am a Miami fan but have nothing but respect for Ga Tech’s fans, team, coach and program. They’re all 1st class. Everyone doesn’t win all the time…that’s a fact. Miami’s on the way back up. The Cane’s beat a good Ga Tech team and I’m happy they did, the Canes are my team. Unlike some, most of the Miamni fans I know will pull for Tech in all it’s remaining games, and pull for Ga to beat the hated “Gators”. Ga Tech is one classy program.

Miami beat Tech once out of the last FIVE games and act like they won the national championship.
That Miami offensive line was mugging, punching, and making Illegal tackles while the redneck refs were scratching their crotch.

The GT defense has been on slide since middle of last season. Wommack needs ticket back to Hattiesburg. The kids played their hearts out, but out manned and out coached by a very good Miami team.

ADMan….You must have watched another game last year. Did you not see the second half? Anbody in american, but you, would admit the arse whooping UGA took from Tech. Come one AdMan, you can do it – admit it. Tech whipped UGA’s arse for two quarters! But, that was last year. Tech and UGA will have 3 or 4 losses this year when they play. The game will still be fun!

Who is next on Tech’s pathetic ACC schedule?!?! How many more ranked teams do you play??? What a joke. These dorks have been running their mouths since they BARELY beat Georgia last year, and now look…LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! At least Georgia fans aren’t acting like our team should be ranked #1. Keep talkin smack, nerds. Eventually it WILL catch up to you. You can’t tell how good your team is when you play NO ONE.

I know there are a lot of Nesbit fans, but last night started to remind me of Reggie Ball… That is one scary thought. The QB has to complete a pass periodically to keep the defense honest. If Nesbit continues to miss these open WR’s, it could get interesting when Jaybo returns. And trust me, I am hoping Nesbit turns it around. It HAS to change though, or it could make for a very long season.

Also, Harris is a good QB, but our defensive line helped make him appear great. When a QB can feel that comfortable in the pocket, the secondary has NO chance.

Let’s hope the coaching staff rips them a new one and moves on. LizDawg, “Are you stupid?” hardly qualifies as a “bashing”, as you call it. Trust me, Mark Richt has likely said mush worse to his players. That is by no means a rip on him. You should be more concerned if a player makes an idiotic mistake, and the coach rubs him on the back while saying “that’s okay buddy, you gave it your best shot”.

I don’t care what type of offense you run, if you don’t have the horses to run it, then it’s all academic. Chill people, we are not a top 15 team, and we never were. Give the coach time to recruit some big nasty guys on the d and o line. If he can do that we will be OK. Luckily we play in the ACC and our schedule is average at best….

Hedgepruner, the refs did miss a lot of holding penalties but that is not the reason you lost. You got dominated on offense, defense, and coaching. Special teams were your only bright spot…and even there you missed a fg

Hey WhiteandGold, don’t worry about Lizdawg…. She is probably one of those types that thinks the mans self esteem will be hurt, if the coach is too tough. LOL. It’s refreshing to finally have a Coach that is VERY passionate about winning and what it takes to WIN. It’s tough to gauge how well CPJ is going to do at GT, but I for one really like what he is trying to accomplish!

What?? Some of you are crying foul about the officials? What game were you watching?

Bottom line is that GT was held to 95 yards rushing and 60 of those yards were on their 1st drive! For a running team that is a LOSS! For the whiners that means that you only gained 35 yards form the 6 minute mark of the 1st quarter forward. LOL! And you blame the Miami Offensive line? LOL! I thought GT had smart kids going there? LOL!!

Gt4ever, I agree. He has the program moving in the right direction. I just wish he could get a few of the players to share that same type of passion that he has. I could not help but notice how soft we were playing at times. PJ’s comment after the Clemson game was spot on. We are definitely not playing with an edge, at least consistently. Hopefully this lose was a major wake-up call for the team and the come out ready against the Tar Heels (and play hard the entire game).

How can a team be so out of shape! I have never seen players gassed so early in a game before. Sucking bad air in the first quarter. What’s up? We were beaten in every phase!!! I am starting to wonder if Dwyer is this years Michael Johnson. Been reading all the predictions about being a first round draft pick next year so he’s to not take any chances,or push very hard to impress since he already has, and jeopardize his draft status. Guess what, that approach cost Johnson millions last year and it might do the same for Dwyer next year! It’s time for him to man-up for the school that has made it possible for him to make millions! He owes us that much!

I’m a huge Tech fan and season ticket holder. That said, all of the worries I had at the start of the season were verified Thurs. Defensive line play is poor except for Morgan – no pass rush at all so the secondary play cannot be critized too much yet. Offensive line is suspect. Other coaches will be watching this game to see how and stop the option. Something is missing; actually Navy looked better in the Ohio State game than we have looked this year, and we have not played a great game since the UGA game last year. The defense was bad in that one with a more talented interior line. This game looked like four star recruits playing two star ones – did you notice Miami’s speed?
We do have one of the best college coaches in the land so I hope he can get some of the problems corrected by next week or we could be in for a tough time. As for all the UGA fans rejoicing, we will be ready for you in Nov.

Our line play on both sides was awful. Our downfield blocking was awful. Our tackling was awful. Our decision making was awful.I think our guys have paid to much attention to their press clippings.I actually thought this would happen. They were terrible against Clemson last week and very lucky to win that game.Historically,we have never handled high rankings well.I always cringe when we get ranked because I know we are about to lose a game. I hope CPJ can right the ship or we are going follow a great season with an awful season. If we don’t develope a halfway decent passing game,we are never going to win consistently and I hate to say it but Josh is a terrible passer–terrible.Look at last night- mostly HOPE AND A PRAYER passing–pitiful.

Typical fan billboard….pounding of chests before the game, and when you lose…..you never give props to the victor for being much better. Always the excuses for poor play. Face it this is not last years Canes. Nor by the way, are they the convicts anymore. This is the most disciplined team I have ever seen at Miami including all the great championship years. Now on to Va Tech and Ok., tough games for the Canes who need to continue to grow. We will be back……OH IT IS GREAT TO BE A MIAMI HURRICANE!!!!!

Tech did suck it up last night. However, I do find it funny that everyone says the offense is figured out. I would say any offense is “figure out” if as soon as you snap the ball the offensive linemen are throwing look out blocks…

I also find it amuzing that Tech got beat by a better team and all the puppy fans come out and run their ignorant inbread redneck idiotic mouths. Just wait and see what Florida does to y’all. Then will your defense be exposed? will your offense have been figured out? Go screw yourselves puppy fans… you got lucky to beat usceast and got beat by a team that lost to houston hahahaha

It’s time to man up and place blame where blame needs to be placed, Tech’s defensive scheme as of late has been AWFUL!! the same players from last season okay you lost a few from the defensive-line but there is still talent there and not just D Morgan solid linebackers group secondary that should be ranked in the nation but for some reason there is a lot of confused kids on this defense some say its an attitude problem I agree but I also know for a fact attitude is a direct result of leadership Defensive coordinator start leading or get the f–k off the field as for the offense a couple of yards and a cloud of smoke then we break one we are always one block away from a touch down please start back making the block and start back playing as one unit, individual and selfish efforts will get your ass handed to you again there is far to much talent on this team for you guys to look like garbage on national television . CPJ you are a good coach but please pay as much attention to your coaching staff as you do your players. best wishes-NOW LETS BEAT UNC
