Willie Martinez. What can I say. What a horrible display of defensive efforts. We should have made adjustments after the first or second drive by South Carolina after noticing that the underneath and stupid running back hook outs were as vacant as Martinez’s brain. I mean honestly, when we play Florida, LSU, and maybe even Kentucky they will ABSOLUTLEY destroy us with that. He should have been gone after last years epic fail on defense. Thanks to his good buddy CMR he saved his job because I think noone in their right mind would hire this guy to lead their defense. That performance last night was attrocious. 37 points to a South Carolina team and we made Stephen Garcia look like an All American Quarterback. I don’t know what to get out of this. A good win or just a lucky win. I hope he can turn it around because the offense looked good when they had the chance to step on the field.

Dazed and Confused…is that the name of a movie or the UGA defense. I was completely embarassed watching the UGA defense run around, point, move like they didn’t have a clue. Here we go again making mediocre quarterbacks look good!!! It will be a long season…

It is Mark Richt’s job to put the best players on the field for Georgia to win. I have concerns about the quarterback choice. I know he has been a loyal member of this team, but is he the best player for this team?

One thing I did not miss, that Stafford was good for, was three and outs. South Carolina had too many 8-12 yard gains on first down with those underneath pass routes. Joe cox showed he is a leader. South Carolina came to win this game and they should to well the remained of their season, look for them to knock off Florida. Borkin and Smith looked real good and could play in the backfield in a wishbone setting.

The tradition and the power house that is Houston could possibly be better than the Dawgs this year.

I think it is funny to read all the post from people who want the Georgia still of defense. First, bend but don’t break has been the Georgia defense saying for years and I mean years. Back even to the junkyard days. Second, If CWM took away the short over the middle passes, you folks would be yelling that we gave up the long ball. If you look at what SC defense, which is always one of there strong points, they to gave up a lot of yardage in the middle and under the cover of the safeties. That is not going to change. Georgia did not give up any really long plays in this game.

As the corners get better, we will see more single coverage and less 2 deep. Also, many of you were spoiled by the great defense players of the past. Look how many are playing in the NFL. And most of you, it appears, can’t not tell the difference between a touchdown and a field goal. 19 points of SC points were from offensive mistakes.

In the end, does it really matter how many points you give up. NO. Do you think SC is really excited because they had more yards than we did. NO. Just enjoy the victory and lets start thinking positively about the Arkansas game. So much negativity is not healthy.

A.J. Green got a major horse collar tackle put on him. It caused his helmet to fly off and the ref’s turned a blind eye towards it…pretty lame.

Where was Marlon Browwn again, this guy is 6′5′ WR (Bobo) inside the the 20 yard line. Play AJ, Charles Marlon these guys can jump and take the heat off AJ because your other players are not doing it or your QB is not seeing the field. Plus he chokes under pressure and other big potential Dawds see this and will not come because there is no commentment to play incoming freshmen that are better and big playmakers. Manage the game and players that will keep your Job

I think that our Linebackers come up and try to put pressure on the QuarterBack too often. Which in turn opens up a wide open middle of the field for the RunningBacks, TightEnds, and Wideouts to make short catches over the middle. Bring one LB to put pressure but keep two watching the underneath route. Oh. The flat was wide open all night but Garcia didn’t look that way. Easy Touchdown on the 4th Down in the Redzone which the RunningBack could have easily ran in. In my opinion, Joe Cox is doing his best. He’s warming up just fine and soon will become the apparent leader of the Dawgs. Samuel is a hard runner. I agree, Marlon Brown needs to be a factor. If hes not going to Redshirt then put him in the game in Chunk-N-Pray situations. Better to let him get experience and become an elite Wide Reciever of the future with Murray.

Georgia is totally sputtering…They have zero rythym. Defense is not on all cylinders and offense ..Well you would think with the volumes of talent including freshmen they should be hammering ..But they are not. Simply put they are struggling to find cohisivness. Bobo needs to take off the gloves and just throw everything but the kitchen sink. oh what the heck throw it too. Georgias def. coordinator should be let go. Start over. I am not at all impressed. It seems like a repeat of last year already two games in. And it is only going to get tougher.
