The Cowboys almost beat themselves with penalites, and they have alot of work to do to fix that. However, the whole Bulldog team was lackluster at best. Sorry fans- it is easy to blame Cox but your team needs work.

Ah – yet another year of UGA being overrated. This is going to be great year because you guys really SUCK. I see 4 or 5 losses with little chance of turning that around in the next few years.

Face it, you have been ordinary for a very long time, and you aren’t even going to hit that level this year.

Enjoy the season.

I was so worried about the defense I took our offense for granted.. Now we know why Cox did not start for the past several years. I thought before this game we would lose 3 ( not this one) now I am thinklng 5…..one thing that has not improved on the defense is the ability to make an interception, I stopped counting after 3 dropped interceptions…..

We are going to destroy South Carolina next weekend. They barely beat that crappy SEC team, so they stink…I mean, they are so much better than any ACC team, and we will crush them.

This game is totally on Mark Richts shoulders. He just flat-out sucked today as a football coach. He better get his s**t together real soon. He just flat out sucked today period.

Can you cancel the South Carolina contest and come back to my house next week? We could use another win over a sorry SEC team. I’ll pay you.

Mike K: no way we lose 5. We will win the rest. Mark Richt just said we were so close to breaking open some long runs.

We looked clueless! Joe Cox is clearly not Stafford, we all knew that but it was definitely proven today. Then on top of this our coaches are ultra conservative…only Richt and Bobo run the ball on 3rd down! Its going to be a long season folks!

Just saw Richts post game interview. He seems beaten down. I wouldnt be surprised if we resigns if we have a terrible year and gone if we have 2 bad years back to back.

Patrick: you’re right, OSU stinks. They are so bad. Every team in the SEC is so much better than them. Cheer up man. We are so great and we will win the NC this season. After we crush SC next week, we will be Top 5, because the SEC is so great.

Joe Cox needs to be on the bench. Run the ball and play sound defense. Also get Logan Gray on the field and let Murray back him up, for now. I repeat run the ball.

UGA rules! is absolutely right. The Georgia Bulldogs and the SEC rule the college football landscape. My Cowboys only won because I paid the referees because as we all know, that’s the only way any nonconference team could beat an SEC school.

Game was dead even statistically. Two fumbles and a botched return coverage and the game is pretty much 10-10. Still think this team needs to look at the first drive and really keep things simple as the season progresses. Still think this team can be a runner up in the SEC East and still go to a good bowl. This game will help the Dawgs down the road this year.

What I said last post is true. BUT I do believe CMR is the best Head Coach we’ve had “by record”. And we may yet have a losing season this year. JUST want to prepare you. He has got to get some gahonnas and JACK his own coaches up! I just can’t stand the way we played. Call me old school or what. But good GOD “ERK IS ROLLING IN HIS GRAVE” I need to see the defense make something happen, and I did not. I can’t stand giving another team credit for my own ineptitude. and that is what happened. They “OKST” could not stop our 3 and 5 yard running game. By the way that is a first down every 2nd or 3rd carry. CMR couldn’t stand it.he had to put us in a 4 man spread and let COX try to throw us down field. Folk’s. Give me less talent. I don’t care, I still will be determined to kick your ass. CMR just dosn’t get it.

I made my millions upon miilions in the energy business so I will offer some free advice. Bulldog fans, spend your energies listening to the wisdom of UGA rules! because he’s one man who recognizes the tremendous superiority the University of Georgia has over every other college football team that has ever stepped on the field.

t-3 games to Logan Grey being the starting QB. Sorry, Cox is more like Tereshinki than Shockley. Nice kid, good leader, doesn’t quite have what it takes to be a starting QB.

I can’t believe people are being so tough on the D–the D dropped a couple passes, but the problem here was at QB! Logan Gray should have been in. Cox just doesn’t have it.

We are a B+ program with a tendency for an occasional A- performance. More often that not ,we do not show up in the big game, hence the reason we have not played for a NC in 27 years. This year is gonna get ugly. We beat the patsies and on occasion beat an equal or even greater opponent but most of the time its let downs… Im gettin’ too old for this year after year. We are on par with Auburn(program as a whole, not the last couple years). Alabama, LSU, Florida are all at a diifferent level. Good night.

Ga Tech will win the ACC before GA will win the SEC unless they change their OFF cord. too conservative offense line should be strong part of team, big but don’t block well not aggressive.

Thats a suprise to hear so many people jumping off the bandwagon. Thats what happens when you become fans after we win the SEC in 2002. Where were you before then. You people are a disgrace to the bulldog nation and probably didn’t even go to Georgia. If you were a fan before the Richt era then you would understand that its nice that we’re disappointed when we don’t win championships because prior to Richt we were just happy to make to the Outback Bowl. That used to be the promised land for us. Thanks Mark Richt for giving us the opportunity to be disappointed with to 15 finishes year after year, Man your really horrible. Alot of good football minds on the blog

Could be a long season. First of all, as far as two ranked teams, neither team imho is even top twenty. Game reminded me of an Ole Miss vs. Miss. St. game from 1983. Cox telegraphed every throw I saw in the first half, then couldn’t hit the ocean from the beach in the second. Too many skilled players for Cox not to get the ball to. Spurrier is licking his chops. Is Aaron ready yet? Defense played good considering three of the scores were after we gave ‘em a short field. Kickoff coverage sucked while Kevin’s boy was outstanding punting the ball. Disappointing start is all I can say. Hopefully next week we can turn it around.

ugarules, you must be on crack. I see little if any improvement in the defense and special team coverage was awful as usual. Oklahoma State is not a great team. We just made them look like it. The strategy of not going after the opponent’s punter persist. Great strategy. Every opponent’s punter can “take” his time. Kickoff coverage is awful. Fabris should be fired now. Not at the end of the season. Our “wise” DC still thinks that stunting and blizting is not the preferred way to go giving their qb plenty of time to make his passes when it counted. Meanwhile our opponent stunted every play and kept our qb and backs running for their lives. Joe Cox took much too long on most of his passess to make a decision. Why not screen C Bo ? Indecision kills the cat, and a qb that does the same will do us in. It is enough to make the most diehard dawg fan wish for a six loss season in order to maybe clean our house of some subpars! I am nauseated. Hand me the pecid.
