10/26: Job numbers don’t add up

Moderated by Rick Badie

It’s often said when the nation catches a cold, black Americans get the flu. Take the Great Recession. The U.S. black unemployment rate (16 percent) is nearly double the national average (9.1 percent). Last year, metro Atlanta’s black jobless rate for men was 20 percent, nearly double that for white men.

Today’s guest columnist dissects the issue.

I interview an underemployed accountant.

Their is no excuse for the African-American unemployment and underemployment rate to be this high.White Racism must be stopped ast the point of a bayonet The federal government must double the Income Taxes on the rich and bring back the WPA and CCC which my father and uncles worked during the Great Depression. The WPA was the Works Progress Adnibstration and the CCC was the Civilian Conservation Corps. This counrty id in a hugh Depression because stupid American corporsations whose leadership are mostly American citizens have taken their jobs overseas. We do not care for such nonsense. The same way the federal government can draft me and send me 10,000 miles away to kill innocent people I do not know and who have not hurt me or my family is the same way we will take over the filthy rich corporation and bring all these jobs home. The reasons for high African-American unemployment is white Racism and greedy American corporations. The federal government must act now and fix this problem now. We don’t accept excuses. Kick the Republicans out of the way.
