Atlanta Falcons: No Excuses!

The Time Has Come

Time to Get it Done!!!!! (AJC)

New thread up to talk Falcons vs. Seahawks in one of the biggest games in franchise history. The matchups have been analyzed to pieces and the storylines have been beaten to a pulp. It all comes down to who wants it more. The Falcons must win this game for so many reasons, the least of which is to move on in the playoffs. Will be back with more analysis and breakdown very soon, but this one has taken its toll on the Atlanta Falcon Faithful. NO MORE EXCUSES, IT’S TIME TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP!!!!!!…………

I really hope GB wins this current game, I want to do the same thing to them as we did the Giants. Payback is Hell! Bring on Brady or whoever!

Broncos lost.

The media is totally crying right now. They can’t suck Peyton’s d!ck anymore.

Now if Rodgers and Brady can lose… I think ESPN will explode.

So tired of those Seahawks fans talking about beast mode. I sure hope D Block and the rest of the defense show up and shut him and the team down

LoL NFL’s favorite son lost today and I am so happy. I was so tired of hearing about the overrated Broncos. If they said we haven’t played anyone, then they Damon sure didn’t with that weak conference they’re in.

I’m ready to feast on some seachicken. A friend in Seattle (who’s not a fan of theirs) said they are already planning a big winning reception for the team at the airport. This team ireally believes they’re going to just show up and win. Cocky bastards.

Green Bay is giving a blueprint of how not to play Kaepernick.

Kapernick is a beast.

He looks like Vick out there… even has number seven. Yet, he’s a way better passer.

I mean, we would have to play a perfect game to be the 9ers at this point. I’m being realistic hear.

I think they can beat the Seahawks, but I doubt they can defend this offense.

Heck, I hope I’m wrong, but this team is legit. Don’t be sensitive about it. I give respect where it’s due.

Green Bays D is horrid, that is why I was pulling for GB. We have Mike Nolan to deal with the 49ers. Gotta take care of Seattle first.

Greetings Latenight,
Game of a lifetime for 49ers. Breaking records from the dynasty years.I do not see them repeating such a performance. We have to beat Seattle before worrying about them. Play one game at a time.

Mike Smith has had success against all the west coast teams. SF can come on down once we polish off the seachickens.

Under Smitty Atlanta is 7-1 vs NFC West, unfortunately the 1 was the only time they have seen the NFC west in the playoffs.

Folks might look at what happened to Green Bay tonight and presume that the same will happen to Atlanta tomorrow, because both teams are built similarly.

But, the Niners and Packers have two different style defenses.

The Niners are built better than anybody in the league up front. The Seahawks are built in the secondary.

That’s why it’d be dumb to say the result will be the same. If we can protect up front, our receivers can take it to any secondary in the league.

Man, I’m jackedddddddddddddddddddddd up!

And Big Lou, the matchup would be a very difficult one…

But Kaepernick ain’t gonna play the type of game he had tonight week in and week out…

Plus, I don’t think Dom Capers had a clue about what he was doing tonight. Dude had no plan for the read option. And then he’s lining up playing man coverage and just leaving Kaep all kinds of lanes to take off with the football.

But, wouldn’t say we stand no chance. In our building [if we're there]? Naw man, we’d give them a wayyyyyyyyyy better game than the Packers did.

So far, all the media ‘experts’ have been wrong…

Or at least the majority of them.

Most ‘experts’ had Denver over Baltimore…wrong.

And then most had the Packers over the Niners….wrong.

And now most have Seattle over Atlanta…

Agree. The FudgePackers have been overhyped awhile now. Watching J. Flaccid-O in the game that wouldn’t die was excruciating. Spray and pray is alive and well , Denver’s Fox finding out the hard way being conservative guarantees nothing. If we can get over the 1st win hurdle I like our chances against anyone. Pats are the last team besides us with a real QB left, the teams relying on the unconventional use of running QB’s will have put up good film to study. We are the one team left that spray and pray will actually be an advantage for. We are a smaller, faster ballhawk type team that only really needs to worry about getting killed in the trenches.

I bet Coop’s head was about to explode when announcers talked about Niners having three top draft pick linemen on their O-Line. He has preached that since I have known him.

“We are a smaller, faster ballhawk type team that only really needs to worry about getting killed in the trenches.” SP

That’s why I don’t think the Falcons will beat the 49ers if they beat Seattle tomorrow. Greenbay got not pressure with their front four(Falcons won’t either), so they sent blitzes all night. This lead to the packers doing man on man, which gave Kapernick room to run. I’m not saying we will get blown out, but we have the disadvantage on both trenches. They will get a heck of a lot more pressure on Matt Ryan, as well. 49ers are built way better than the Seahawks. Only way I’ll be comfortable is of the Falcons blow out the Seahawks tomorrow.

Kapernick looked nothing like Vick. CK ran with purpose, always going north the and south, running to space, but getting down instead of juking . It was one hell of a show he put on, but it was also one of those things where I don’t think Green Bay really game planned to stop him. The big question is, how the hell this guy last until the 36th pick.

Yes, I am a student ambassador for the College of Business. Spring classes start Monday. Thanks for asking. The Falcons need to put a whooping on Seattle Sunday. I sure hope that they play their “A” game. If so, then we can beat anyone.
