New thread up to talk Falcons vs. Seahawks in one of the biggest games in franchise history. The matchups have been analyzed to pieces and the storylines have been beaten to a pulp. It all comes down to who wants it more. The Falcons must win this game for so many reasons, the least of which is to move on in the playoffs. It is a semantic technicality. The original term is shovel pass if I’m not mistaken but shuffle pass and a few others are also used.

Slant is right. If we could cover the TE they chickens wouldn’t have any yards at all. But all in all, I can’t be mad at the effort and game plan on both sides of the ball today. The Falcons offense is still in attack mode, the play calling is excellent, the execution is great, both lines are playing very well. We have one quarter to go to make history and one more score, of any type should seal it away.
I’m not even going to be mad about all the Seahawks apologist media that will adamantly refuse to acknowledge that the Falcons were simply the better team, across the board, all day long today.

That was absolute BS.
Pass was soft, didn’t like the decision. But DB also puts the brakes on right in front of Roddy and basically committs PI.
Of course, nobody wants that call, so it wasn’t made.

That was a blatant interference on Roddy White. #23 cut him off from getting to the ball and wasn’t even trying to make a play on the ball. That may be the worst non-call I’ve seen this season.

Defense not tackling well, and completely unable to cover the TE has let Seattle back in this game. I can’t blame that on Smitty.
