Fans Guide to Falcons Training Camp (w/ Updates)

Training Camp Tips, Hints, and Excitement

SWEET RELIEF…..IT’S HERE!!!!!!

((((Updates))))

Training camp updates will be posted in the comments section as they become available throughout the weekend.

Good News Once Again

Thomas Dimitroff and the Falcons Front Office are simply good. They have an unbelievable ability of getting all of their picks signed and in camp for Day 1 of Training Camp. Peria Jerry, Sam Baker, and now Sean Weatherspoon cut it close, but they got it done. Kudos and beyond to Thomas Dimitroff and his staff on the superb job he’s done as Atlanta Falcons General Manager.

The Long Wait is Finally Over!
Ah, the dark clouds of no-football have finally lifted, and we’re finally ready for some FALCONS FOOTBALL! Training camp is here ladies and gentleman. The long, excruciating pain of waiting for a new football season has at last come to an end. The post draft buzz wore off quickly; leaving us football junkies only with the heat of summer and a few tidbits from mini-camp and OTA’s to fill our appetite. Mini-camp only lasted a couple of days and organized training activities were basically a roll call of who was present and who failed to show. Training camp is the unofficial start to football season, which is the best time of year for most of us. The anticipation of training camp gives us football fanatics a glimpse of what the Falcons have and makes the month of August the most exciting time of the year in terms of waiting. Other sports are enjoyable to watch, but can be time fillers for the real season to get underway for many of us.

Deepest Roster to Date

The Bird Cage will be starting a “2010 Training Camp Battle Series” that will last through the Grand Finale of camp, so there will be plenty of time to delve into the many battles throughout August. This has been mentioned as possibly being the deepest Falcons roster in quite some time with so many battles even down to the precious practice squad spots.

Thanks D3,
For all that you do.
I immediately set the throw back Falcons emblem (up top) as my desktop background.
Still love that old logo, might roll with that one for a while.

With Spoon soon to be inked, we are locked and loaded and ready to roll.
Lets hope for a great and relative injury free camp.

Hope to make the Saturday morning practice session (July, 31) and catch the scrimmage on the 7th of August.
Any Cage members in attendance, please adjourn at the top of the hill, at the 50 yard line at the start of practice.

I can make a Bird Cage sign to post at the top of the hill. I know JJ and he will not look good in a dress although it would be very funny. Given how hot it’s been I’ll probably wear my wee strappy falcons top and shorts. I’m also a wee buck 115, 5′3″ short blond hair and tan – pool addict.. Since you are now in FFL you have my e-mail address.

Just took final exam last night. Two summer classes, two “A”s. The tote board so far is 12 total classes, 11 “A”s and 1 “B”. I am two classes into my second year after these two summer classes. End of Spring semester should yield two associate degrees. I did find out that I should be employed until March 2011 and then I’m kicked to the curb.

Moose, picture grizzly adams in a dress, not a pretty picture. Now with Sarah, picture Dolly P. with short hair…j/k SB.

TGIF, hope some cagers are going today and bring back some pics and info.

SW/Stirg: FFL bet. Assuming we’re having a post season gathering, if anyone of us skunks the other (all W’s including playoffs), the loser has to wear a dress to the gathering. lol
