That`s very true and some of that is the coaching staffs fault for not finding a way to dail up some pressure, be it by scheme or personel adjustments.

On the idea of resting Turner, if he is availble?
Again, the Falcons are simply not in the position to rest their best player because they face a 1/9 team this week in the Bucs.

Don`t expect the Falcons to be major players in the FA market this off season because of the of CBA situation.
The good news on that front, they are not likely to lose many players to FA either.
Players that were coming up for UFA will have two more years of being RFA, so there won`t be too much help availabe and the players out there of any value, their current teams will have rights to reject any offer by seeing the offer, to said player,the best I understand it anyways.
Improvemet through draft is the only reqal option..IMO

A lot has been made of Atlanta’s secondary this season (253.4 passing ypg), but DT Thomas Johnson said the defensive front needs to do its part to help the DBs out. “We definitely have to do better with pressure and sacks, so we can help our secondary out,” Johnson said.

Like all of you, I hope the Falcons will win out and be 11-5. Some of us are guilty of taking this game as win before its played. Tampa Bay will change its Def this week. After firing Jim Bates, they will return to the Tampa Two that worked so well for them in the past.
