Bird Cage Meetup – Officially, we’re meeting up at the Taco Mac @ Lindbergh on Sunday for the Giants game. Not sure what time everyone plans to arrive, but might want to aim for noon-ish because it gets packed on NFL Sundays. Who’s in?: Myself, Sarah B., Dean21, Sautee(s), KickAzz, Lil’Dave?…….Love to see you all out there. Its on the Marta line, so easy in and out.

Anybody up for a moral victory this week?
I dint think so..
Some should have never bought into one (from the get go) several weeks back, the big issue that lost that game to the Saints is still the big issue now.
The play of Matt Ryan.
Don`t get me wrong, I am very much a supporter of Matt but he is still in a learning curve and a slump is part of the process.
To be fair, historically when a QB in the NFL is having a slump.
Take a look at his O-line and almost without fail you will find issues in the protection schemes or personnel.
This case is no different.

My advise to Matt.
DON`T THINK, just do!
That`s the way a well trained fighter fights and a great baseball hitter hits.
There is (and this is) no time to think about pressure or coverages.
It`s all action, reaction and force of will.
In the world of sports, it`s called getting into the zone.

Big game this weekend.

6-4 with a much lighter schedule coming up would definately give us an edge to get one of those 2 wildcard spots.

That said, Weed Williams was a good FFL option before Brown went down.

SW, good to hear from you. You are indeed right. We need to get back our mojo in this game. It’s going to be an even greater challenge as NYG do not want to lose 5 in a row or people will be jumping off buildings but we have to win this game some way somehow!!! You are also very correct in saying TB ain’t no gimme!!!! They are playing much better now.
