Hey Cage Guys and Gals! Able to get a new post up. Due to my computer issues, its a shell of what it normally is, but not too bad nonetheless. I was able to get on a computer for a minute.

Nobody, would ever accuse you of being negative?
Forget about shockley, he would be of no help to the team.

Thomas Brown on the other hand, I see a direct use for him.
As you mentioned, he knows the playbook, should have fresh legs, can return kicks and be should healthy, his only knock was, he could not stay healthy.
Trust me, the team needs help at the FB/RB positions.
The only one that is not dinged up (that they started the season with) is Verron Haynes.
Not a good predicament to be in when going up against the Saints on Monday, desperately needing to establish some ground game, with some hopes of breaking off some big plays.

So Coop, your not the one being negative.

BT – I don’t mean this to be negative, but TBrown and Shockley haven’t been picked up by anyone. I know we grabbed a couple of RBs and folks wonder why not TBrown. That’s fair. He should know the offense, etc. Maybe the coaches think he had a couple years and didn’t show he could move to the next level. Maybe they thought he didn’t fit the system. Maybe Stecker knows the Saints or is cheaper.

Just because they played for UGA isn’t enough to get me to buy a ticket to watch them sit on the bench. I love both of them, but they’re not NFL material.

Tim Tebow is a unparalleled collage sports legend in Florida, the Jags almost have to take him with their 1st pick.
Given the economy and their situation.

That brings me to another subject.
I guess, the Falcons are thinking they are above needing to sell a few tickets to a local, loyal fan base with the release of Shockley and the failure to bring back Thomas Brown, when they are in dire need of a running back.

Can someone explain why Thomas Brown has not been re-signed?
