BT-I agree, COwens was drafted to eventually become a starter, not a backup. But, I believe it was intended for him to take over for departed CB Dfoxworth. I don't think our coaches were very confident that BGrimes would be able to return to last yrs form. They may have also been worried about his ability to hold up for an entire season considering his size and aggressive style of play. In the cover 2 DEF, your CB's should be very physical at the point of attack, which has been CHouston's problem.

Finneran's height(6'5")height advantage over Ferguson(6'1") makes him a better target in short yardage as well as the Redzone. Being a key member of the punt and kickoff return/cover teams makes him far more valusble.

BT,

I hope he loses every game, he should have retired a packer.

But, he brings something to a good team. He may be scraggly(who cares), he may be a good ole boy(who cares) who wares wrangler(who cares), and yes he keeps getting up after getting knocked down.

BT, you're my fellow falcon fan, bret just may make our journey to the top more difficult in the nfc...just my thoughts...

LTF-
OMG, I refrained from saying about the same thing.
I fact, if I were D.Led.
Might have been kicked out of camp by asking Sugar Bear if, those were the same techniques your teaching that caused him to be on the ground and out of most the plays?
Of course, it`s all just coach speak.
They like most of us (that are paying attention) are on the Chauncy bus.
