Falcons vs. Seahawks
The Falcons and Seahawks will play an NFC divisional playoff game on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Georgia Dome. The game will be televised by Fox.
The Falcons and 49ers each had a bye for the first round of the playoffs. The Seahawks, the No. 5 seed, advanced to the divisional round with a 24-14 victory at fourth-seeded Washington on Sunday.
Atlanta has won the last three meetings against Seattle, including a 30-28 road victory during the 2011 regular season. This will be the first playoff meeting between the teams.
The Falcons and Seahawks had four common opponents during the 2012 regular season: the Cardinals, Cowboys, Lions and Panthers.
The Falcons were 4-1 against those teams with a defeat at the Panthers (they split the season series with Carolina, an NFC South opponent). The Seahawks were 3-2 against those teams with defeats at the Lions and the Cardinals (they split the season series with Arizona, an NFC West opponent). The
