FLOWERY BRANCH–Falcons cornerback Chris Owens (hamstring) and safety Charles Mitchell (calf) missed practice today and safety William Moore (hamstring) and defensive end John Abraham (ankle) participated on a limited basis.
Moore, a starter, missed the final four regular-season games. Abraham, who leads the team in sacks with 10, was injured during the regular-season finale.
Mitchell suffered the injury during the bye week but coach Mike Smith said he expects him to return to practice tomorrow. Mitchell was active for 10 regular-season games.
Owens sat out the regular-season finale against Tampa Bay. Owens is a key special-teams player.

Great news, overall. Dunta seems like he’ll be fine and Abe and Willy Mo are at least practicing. Hopefully those guys can get right by Sunday, because we’ll need them!

These guys have been stepping up all year. Sure, would love the whole team @ 100% but they’ve got each other’s backs. We are moving on.
WE ARE THE MIGHTY MIGHTY FALCONS!!

Well, so we have a few injuries. What counts is that we played our best and played them hard in that last regular season game right? Shanahan doesn’t have anything over Smitty in his ability to analyze what’s important does he.
Oh well, I hope we’re up for it. Go Falcons!

Huge falcons fan with tickets to the game.
I dont see this as a close game. Either the falcons blow out the seatalks or we get blown out. Without turnovers and with some protection, falcons roll…..Lot of seahawk pressure and a few interceptions and Falcons lay a big egg.
Go Falcons, Im betting on the former!

Smitty has a tough job… what is enough, what is not enough and what is too much. He knows more than anyone the line in the sand before us; we have to win. Not just for his job… not just for the media… but for everyone.
We WILL win and then, we will go to that unholy dome on the poop silt called New Orleans and bring home the Lombardi. But… it won’t be easy and along the way, Smitty will bear the cross of all those past games. The media will abuse him and some fans will too. But we will prevail!
We will RISE UP and bring it all home!

Roger you are a pretender! Let me help you out, Falcons don’t get blown out at home under Nolan! Russell Wilson is going to do something that Peyton, Brees, Eli, Cam, and a host of other didn’t do? Come on Man!

No problem, they certainly don’t want to aggraivate anything. The problem with Willy Mo is that he has been out for so long I don’t know if he can catch up to game speed .

We NEED William Moore. We have lost 2 of 4 with him out. He brings an INTENSITY to the defense that is missing when he is out.
