FLOWERY BRANCH — Pro Bowl wide receiver Roddy White suffered a minor knee injury and was held out of practice on Wednesday.
He’s expected to return to practice on Thursday, according to head coach Mike Smith.
White, defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (ribs) and William Moore (hamstring) did not practice.
White and Babineaux played against Carolina last Sunday, while Moore was held out. Veteran Chris Hope started for Moore at strong safety.
Also, left tackle Sam Baker (hand), left guard Justin Blalock (elbow), wide receiver Harry Douglas (ribs) and cornerback Asante Samuel (shoulder) were limited in practice.
It was Samuel’s first day back at practice since the Falcons played the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 29. He was in the game for three plays against the Saints. He didn’t play at all against Carolina, but was available for emergency duty.
For the Giants, running back Ahmad Bradshaw has a sprained knee, which could keep him out of Sunday’s game against the Falcons.
Bradshaw was in a group of seven players that did not practice on Wednesday. Cornerback Prince Amukamara (hamstring), linebacker Michael Boley (back), wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (knee), defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (back), safety Kenny Phillips (knee) and safety Tyler Sash (hamstring) did not practice.
Center David Bass (shoulder) and tight end Travis Beckum (knee) were limited in practice.

I have seen happy feet and numerous checkdowns the past two weeks of football…I am watching Ryan become way to predictable as pressure seems to really rattle the guy…Don’t get me wrong, our line hasn’t been getting the job done but Ryan has got to overcome some of that with better clutch play and develop an ability to step up or away from the pressure instead of just checking it down immediantly…It looks as if the teams are just pressuring him into quick short throws that have little chance of doing ANY damage…I do not see Ryan looking downfield once he sees his line getting beat….He starts looking for checkdowns…If I see it the DC see it too…Here comes the pressure until you show you can consistently beat it…

It’s that time of the year. Technically you could probably list the whole team on the injury report. This is a big game to prove we’re not as soft as everybody thinks. Rise up Falcons!

That dimwit has been ailing for weeks, at least since the first New Orleans game. He’s apparently had lockjaw since then, which is a good thing.

The True Dirty Bird fan will understand this statement. We slept though the game with the Panther’s. Why because there was nothing to play for. we are the NFC South Champs” 2012. The Dirty Birds were looking forward to this game. To show the world that the butt whipping the Giant’s gave us last year woke us up. This game will determine were we actually stand in the groups of the Elite’s. I forsee a Victory for the Dirty birds. THE NFC SOUTH CHAMP’S. 28-17
