Good win by the Falcons. The offense was sluggish after the first quarter, however, the defense was able to contain the Aints. Matt Ryan seemed nervous the whole game. We need Ryan to man up down the stretch!!! The Defense can’t keep winning the games. At some point the offense is going to have to prove it can dominate the whole game.

We missed A. Samuel in the game but still came away with a win. Great game!

Matty stood tall under a lot of pressure. He wasn’t the problem once we stalled. Offense got a little too fancy – got away from the run which was extremely effective (can’t believe I just said that). Also, people are sleeping on #27 McClain and Owens. They are more than adequate backups. As a matter of fact, McClain may have been the MOST effective DB we had versus Manning and Brees this year.

Playoffs 2 points.

This sorry team will not clinch the NFC South. They will go to the playoffs and lose the very first game like they ALWAYS do. Playoffs 2 points.
November 30th, 20129:17 am
Will not clinch the NFC South?! We are 11-1 genius. Do the math.
November 30th, 20129:19 am
At least we are going to the play offs Pandora Bitch.
November 30th, 20129:27 am
Lol @ Pandora. Nothing beats a troll except an unintelligent, uninformed troll…..freakin idiot!
November 30th, 20129:32 am
Pandora obviously has no clue about what it takes to win a division.

Falcons are a good team not a great team a lot of hype all about nothing.First round losers in the playoffs .they are the fourth best team in the NFC. Their quarterback is scarey and WEAK.

Huge win over a bitter rival that has dominated us lately. Better yet, it was on the national stage and in prime time–elements that have intimidated this franchise in years past. Defense came through against one of the best QBs in the game. And all this in a schedule-shortened week.
Don’t let up now, Falcons. Carry this momentum through to where it really counts–the postseason.

George is a dumbazz that believes posting the same idiotic comments three times in a row will somehow earn respect.

Keeping it real

Matt Ryan needs to step up his game,he seams nervous and unsure of himself lately, thank goodness for the defence.

The Falcons actually beat 2 teams last night. The Caints and the Refs. I swear, those refs were trying their hardest to gift wrap that game for the Caints. 3 football games in 5 days and in all 3, our Dirty Birds rose to the stratosphere, eyed the target, and swooped down in blinding fury to quech that hunger for blood. You go guys!!!! Great game!!!!!

SI quote….’ It means the Falcons are 11-1. But nobody will look at them like we would look at an 11-1 Patriots team or 11-1 Steelers team. Their playoff history is too shaky. Their record seems too sketchy.
I’m a big believer in close wins — I think they help players stay calm and disciplined when the playoff pressure arrives, because they have already come through in so many tight situations. But if the playoffs started today, would you take the Falcons over the 49ers? Would you want them over Eli Manning and the Giants?’
November 30th, 201210:25 am
YO BREES – Who owns the division now b*tch!
November 30th, 201210:37 am
@George “Their quarterback is scarey and WEAK.”
I would pay to watch him curb stomp you. Haha.
November 30th, 201210:59 am
I’d take these Falcons over the Peyton-led Broncos or the Eli-led Giants. They just shut down one of the NFL’s premier quarterbacks and hung FIVE interceptions on him. As I recall, they hung THREE interceptions on Peyton. Sh*t, bring on Brady.
Just remember, until the 2008-09 seasons, the Falcons hadn’t strung together two winning seasons in a row. Now the Mikes (Smith & Nolan) have these Birds consistent winners. It may not happens this year, or it may, but the Falcons will win a SuperBowl under Mike Smith.

The saying that the team that won did not win the game the other team lost the game needs to be in question here. Matt Ryan has looked mediocre the last 3 weeks, he has too much talent around him to perform the way he has. I mean lets get real 6 3 and outs in a row I think Ryan during thiose 3 and outs went 1 for 11. Not saying much for the falcons but they are in trouble come play off time unless Ryan pulls it together. Oh yea get rid of the nick names “Ice” and ” Matural” even though 11-1 the Falcons at best are the 5 best team in the NFC
