Well, 10-1 ain’t chopped liver! Hey, we beat a team on the road with a winning record, too! Here’s what we did VERY well: we kept that “Hampster” kid under control! Our secondary gave a little, but didn’t break! We protected Ryan again and he came through! Now, to what we didn’t do well! Turner up the middle on first down is a loss cause! Pitch out to Turner is a much better idea! Our kicker? Don’t know whether he’s been with us too long…..or is going to be with us much longer! But those missed field goals have GOT TO STOP! Oh, by the way…..we are going to hand the aint’s there butts on Thursday night!!!

Reading between the lines… Coach Mike is just happy as hell to have this one behind him. The Falcons had to scratch and claw this victory and he’s as happy as anyone for that one point lead at the end.
The team is tired and they have only a few days rest before being abused by the league for a Thursday night game against the saints. They are hoping like heck that the aches and pains and injuries will miraculously heal in such a short time and that Matt Bryant can kick between the uprights over 15 yards. Spoon is doing pretty well but Samuels is hurting. The D line is in the hot tub already and the O-line is wading into the pond at the Branch.
Time for a prayer…

Love how this team picks each other up after mistakes are made. Getting the W despite the missed field goals, holding the Bucs to a field goal after the turnover, getting the TD in the 4th when needed, etc. We have a winner and hopefully they will make it happen comrade playoff time.

All I want for chrismas is UGA #1 in the counry, Falcons to win the super bowl and The Braves to win the world series. You have to make one crazy wish to give Santa one not to bring. …lol Braves…lol. Go Birds and Dawgs!!!!!!!!

I was at the game and disappointed. I will take the win even if ugly. Defense gave up too many first downs and with the exception of the strike to Jones they did not throw the ball long hardly at all. Use your weapons. Too conservative.
