The only reason that I am happy about Chipper Jones retireing is we don’t see one of the GREATS on the field with deteriorated skills…bumbling, fumbling, stumbling. That’s how I felt hearing the fans boo Turner yesterday. The displeasure after Turner ran for a loss then dropped an easy swing pass to the flats was justified…but sad at the same time. A win is a win is a …who am I fooling…dang that was ugly!

So nice to have Corey Peters back! The addition of his talent combined with the fresher D-Line is becoming quite disruptive. We have missed Spoon but it has been so nice to give Dent some reps (100%). He is clearly advancing from his time on the field. It is evident that he is starting to get a feel for the pace of the game and the movement of the ball. I have no doubt that it will pay dividends down the line as he becomes comfortable on the field and becomes a dominating force at linebacker. It takes playing time to advance and this team is building depth in many positions. I’m actually getting a kick out of watching Bierman play. He is a FOOTBALL PLAYER! He will do whatever is needed and his motor is running on red line for every play. It is good to see him get comfortable out there too! GO FALCONS! YOU ARE RISING UP!
