New Orleans Saints cornerback Jabari Greer (33) breaks up a pass in the end zone intended for Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White (84) on fourth down, ending the Atlanta Falcons hope for a win, in the second half an NFL football game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012. NEW ORLEANS – Falcons wide receiver Roddy White didn’t gave the Saints any credit after their 31-27 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
When asked what did it say about the Falcons that they couldn’t beat a 3-5 Saints team, White said, “It doesn’t say much about us about us. I think we had opportunities today. It’s not like they came out here and just. … I feel like we kind of gave it away. We just gave it to them. It wasn’t nothing they did. It was want we did in not cashing in on opportunities. We play them against in three weeks and we’ll be ready. It will be at the Dome and hopefully we’ll beat them that time.”
White was the intended receiver on the Falcons’ fourth down pass attempt that Saints cornerback Jabari Greer deflected with 1:46 left to play.
“He made a heck of play,” White said. “He came underneath. He read it right. He dove in there and knocked it down. Good play by him.”

Why don’t we give Antone Smith a chance at running back…he has very good speed something we are missing at running back….maybe at least then they would respect us running outside!!!!

Well, if you gave that game to NO, then thanks so much for eing so gracious as to permit Greer to knock down what would have been a winning TD. You are a credit to your team. They should be pleased.

Quit crying and take you whipping like a man. You got beat by the “Who Dat Nation”. It won’t be the last time. Shanle was right, the little brother that gets slapped around. That is what the Falcons have become to us. We own you.

I am a die heart falon fan living in washington, dc. I have several takes on the falcons. Let’s be honest, the falcons don’t have HEART. The offensive line should give back every penny they earned yesterday. They should be ashame. Their coach/offensive coordinator didn’t have enough confidence in them to get one yard in four tries. That’s pitiful. And no, you can’t blame Turner for that. There was no whole anywhere in the line in front of him

Roddy quit running on that late, deep pass because he thought he would get the Aints called for interference!!! This is Roddy’s MO. He is very physical, he pushes off *A LOT* and he jaws at the players. He tried to p*** off the other players. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. He is constantly looking for a flag. Very talented, makes clutch catches most of the time, but swagger can bit ya sometimes.

@tech80 I agree, after the 1st quarter we were playing NOT TO LOSE. When it was clear that Brees had bounced back, and that they could run effectively, we went into Leeman Bennett mode — conservative, nothing fancy, run up the middle, throw to Tony G. We played for the last possession and it almost worked. Almost.

Matty Ice is a little shell shocked when in the pocket sometimes. There are times when he locks on to one receiver and don’t go through his progression. He didn’t lead Roddy White on that last play. Easy touchdown if led on the throw. But again, I blame the offensive line for not being able to make a whole for a one yard run.

The Falcons have the complete package to win the Superbowl-EXCEPT that they do not have a running game at all. Turner runs like a convict walking to the electric chair and Rogers bounces backwards when he gets hit like a pingpong ball hitting a tractor trailer. We need to use our other running backs for now until we can get some quality runners next year.

We have got to do something about the Running Game. I think it is time for Magic Mike to get to steppin (out the door). The OL is just as much to blame for not opening up holes and winning at the line of scrimmage.

DOL…you need to find a new “spell check” program. Seriously…either Roddy White can’t speak English, or there’s three typos in his “quote”, and I’m not even talking about the double negative. It’s hard to make sense of paragraph without stopping and trying to figure out what the hell you meant to write. Come on, man!
And while I agree with Roddy’s comments, he needs to close his mouth, shut down his twitter account during the season, and let his play do the talking…it speaks for itself.

You NOTlanta fans are just as delusional as Snotty White and his comments. The only reason Patty Melt had slightly better numbers is because he had to catch up and try to win, thus throwing more than Brees the Failcons killer who is by the way 11-2 vs Patty Melt. Turner was held to 15 yards on 11 carries and our defense bent but didn’t break and came up big when it counted. Stop making excuses an except the fact that you got beat. 8-1.. Live with it. See ya in a few weeks. We own you idiots!!!

I have been a Falcon Fan since Randy Johnson and Junior Coffee. I was hoping we could go undefeated. Roddy is right, Falcs beat themselves. How many 3rd and ones we could not Make? Stupid critical penalties in key downs and field position. Drew and roddy gave up on 2 routes at the end of the game that were potential td passes. Gonzalez drops ball at end so no first down to get last tries into end zone.
We still do not have playoff pass protection and what is up with Turner? It looks like he just stands there after he is giving the ball and took down like an old grandma. Geminee–can somebody explain the insanity? This all needs corrective action if we are going to be in playoffs.
Well Mr. White on behalf of the WHO DAT NATION I wanna say THANK YA VERY MURCH!!!!!!!!! ~STILL YELLING WHO DAT~

RW is such a cry baby. If he don’t actually catch the ball, then he’s spinning around looking for a flag. “Waaa, waaa, he knocked the ball away from me. Penalty! Penalty!” Maybe he should concentrate more on his job than worrying about the refs jobs. Idiot!

It’s clear who and/or what the REAL problem is…we should cut Michael Turnip along with Ray Edwards. What good is having a 230lb tail back when he has proved over snd over again that he can’t even get 1 yd when we need him to …even Matt Ryan picked up 1yd for a first down…he’s useless and will cost us more games if we keep on depending on him in short yardage situation…GET RID OGF HIM NOW!!!
