Roddy White doesn’t credit Saints with the win, Falcons ‘gave’ it to them

NEW ORLEANS – Falcons wide receiver Roddy White didn’t gave the Saints any credit after their 31-27 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
When asked what did it say about the Falcons that they couldn’t beat a 3-5 Saints team, White said, “It doesn’t say much about us about us. I think we had opportunities today. It’s not like they came out here and just. … I feel like we kind of gave it away. We just gave it to them. It wasn’t nothing they did. It was want we did in not cashing in on opportunities. We play them against in three weeks and we’ll be ready. It will be at the Dome and hopefully we’ll beat them that time.”
White was the intended receiver on the Falcons’ fourth down pass attempt that Saints cornerback Jabari Greer deflected with 1:46 left to play.
“He made a heck of play,” White said. “He came underneath. He read it right. He dove in there and knocked it down. Good play by him.”

The offensive line is truly “offensive”. They have to be the weakest girls in the entire NFL. They couldn’t push off a line of girl scouts. So far as Michael Turner is concerned, he was washed up last year. He runs like a blind man hip deep in molasses. At least Jaquizz has some speed and moves. Turner couldn’t carry Jaq’s jock.

This is year three of Michael Turner’s decline. We should have been looking for a replacement for him three years ago. Now we possess no real threat on the ground.
It’s going to be difficult to beat quality opponents in the playoffs without a running game.

Not having our best lb and J.J. is what hurt us, it will be a different game when the Spoon returns. So stank fans please don’t get it twisted.11-2 the past is the past and between that one give away SB and now there is starting to be a lot of distance between it. without the ref help you stank fans would be breaking out the paper bags of shame. up until this game all we heard on this site was crickets.

For those of you that watched the game you well know it was not one of Ryan’s best games. On so many of the crossing patterns he fail to lead the receiver. The pass at the end of the game would have ended it but Matt threw to the center of 88’s chest instead of lead him. It was knocked down. The last ten minutes of the game he did that consistently. As many passes as he did make the crossing patterns had his number. On one it was the fault of Douglas for not squaring the route.
And has been said, Turner is a waste. As big as his legs are they are putty when if comes to drive. It just ain’t there. It’s way past time to let Smith have a chance. Don’t play somebody just because you owe him so much money. Play the ones that give you the best chance of winning.

Your right he didn’t lead him enough but wasn’t that pass to Roddy, not Gonzo. I’d go back and look but my DVR messed up at the end of the game.
There could have been other factors affecting his passing lane but like I wrote, I don’t have the film.

The Falcons played heartless football yesterday. I don’t care what his record is get rid of the punk HEAD coach. We have changed OC/DC yet we are still falling short when it really matters.
Not sure why the Aints were so excited they didn’t do anything special the Falcons gave them that game. Not even sure why the Falcons bothered to show up for the game and waste our time.
I am long time Falcons fan and all I asked for each season is that you win 2 games and those are the 2 against the Aints. If you can’t play hard ball and with some heart against your “rival” stop calling them that and consider it just another game.
Never thought I’d being saying this but Roddy is right but you didn’t “kind of” give the game away. You laid down and let the Aints walk all over you as usual!
As a Falcons fan for over 20 years I am sick of it!

I’ll take that gift any day you want to give it to us Roddy. Perhaps if you weren’t running backwards and sideways you could have caught that last pass that could have potentially set up a win or won the game altogether. At least you have a nice big paycheck still with which you can wipe away that crybaby snot with. I have to commend your fans for showing much more class upon their exit at the Superdome (this go-round at least) than you could ever hope to have.
