FLOWERY BRANCH – Both of the Falcons’ nickel backs, Robert McClain and Christopher Owens, were added to the injury report Friday.
McClain (hip) and Owens (heel) were limited in practice and were listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
Also, Harry Douglas (ankle) went to full from limited.
Defensive tackles Peria Jerry (knee) and Jonathan Babineaux (hamstring) were listed as questionable for the game.
Douglas, defensive end John Abraham (Elbow), left tackle Sam Baker (ankle), cornerback Asante Samuel (hip) and running back Jason Snelling (illness) were listed as probable.
Safety Charles Mitchell (calf) was declared out for the game. Falcons coach Mike Smith previously announced that linebacker Sean Weatherspoon (ankle) and wide receiver Kevin Cone (groin) would not play against the Saints.
There were no changes to the Saints injury report. Defensive end Junior Gallette (ankle), tackle Zach Streif (groin), running back Darren Sproles (hand) and wide receiver Courtney Roby (shoulder) did not practice and were declared out for Sunday.

They’ll play. If Coach Smith hasn’t ruled them out, they will play.

No Sproles, No Strief.
No Weatherspoon. Better hope McClain plays. He’s been a revelation with Grimes out.
Strief gets replaced with Charlie Brown. Which would be awesome if he was the placekicker.

Strief’s backup at RT is listed to be Bryce Harris, an undrafted FA signed off the Falcons practice squad earlier this year. 0 game experience. If the Aints start this dude ya gotta think Abe and the Beerman will be licking their chops. RISE UP!
