Gritty win. Ryan had pressure in on him all night and still delivered 300 yards. Roddy and J. Jones terrific. Turner finally popped a long one! Quiz with a pair of huge 3rd down conversion catch and runs. Those plays finaly arrived. Been waiting for them.

Nat’l people and the contrarions (trolls) will not care. This was a very good win against a desparate team. Kept the Gunslinger Romo without completely going off. Figured he’d throw a pick or 3, but it was a victory without it.

This game made me happy because Dallas has a top 5 defense. And i’m glad to see that we can still move the ball on one of the best defenses in the league. If Dallas just straightened up on offense they woul really be one of the best team in te league.

This game was a test to see how the falcons could match up with a top defense….they did good. Could’ve did better but overall good. And I see the falcns have fiixed their run defense problem

Way to go Angry Birds! Way to make adjustments in the 2nd half on defense “Nolan”. You can tell that Sports Announcer Cris Collinsworth was rooting for the Cowboys. It was never about what the Falcons were doing but about what the Cowboys needed to do to win the game. 8 & 0 baby! Cris need to pay up the bets that he lost

I didn’t know RW had the record. However, I was reminded many times during the telecast that Witten was close to passing Michael Irvin to be the all-time Dallas leader in receptions. 2nd week in a row that the media has been all about the NFC East team.

Although there is no excuse for a DE being untouched and crushing our QB, did ANYONE else notice the helmet to helmet contact in the back of Ryans head??? No flag, no call by the announcers… it was really just ignored. I wonder if Smitty is going to send that play into the league office for review and possible fine. My first thought is let them play football but if they call it on Brady, Rodgers and Manning hits they should call it for Ryan too!

Roddy White is a great receiver and deserves all the accolades he’s getting. All he does is go over the middle and make plays. Besides he plays defense on offense. and he has a high football IQ.

Should someone tell Chris Collingsworth that the Falcons won? The guy is such a joke. The Falcons played a great game, shredded the ‘Boys D, and that all escaped his attention somehow. Chris, please go away and don’t come back.

Did you guys get the “poor ” cowboys injury report from Chris Collinsworth? Over and over, all game. He made excuses for them every time the Falcons made a good play. Never liked him, but then again, I have little use for any ex- Florida Gaytor.

Congratulations Roddy. You are not only a GREAT receiver, you are TOUGH and you are an inspiration to your entire TEAM! You are unselfish and get the whole team to focus on WINNING rather than personal statistics. You take enjoyment from the success of your teammates and you draw double teams and BLOCK downfield so that others can succeed. You have all the personal attributes I saw in Walter Peyton (one GREAT football player). May you have a long and illustrious career and may it always be with our Atlanta Falcons so I can watch you every week. Thank you for doing a wonderful job Roddy! GO RODDY! YOU ARE RISING UP!

I just updated my FB status with a similar sentiment. Heard all about Witten last night, and not a peep about Roddy breaking the same record. Gotta love that unbiased NBC broadcast.

Kudos to Mr. White and onwards and upwards………………………….one game at a time! ………………………………..8 – 0 only undefeated Team in the entire NFL and the nasty Caints are up next……………………………hehehehehe !

It isn’t how you win , it is what you have to do to win at the end and this Team keeps finding different ways to finish off their opponents to seal the Win !………………………..

The Falcon had the deck stacked against them all night. Dallas got away with holding after holding, they got away with pass interference, and not to mention some questionable hits. They got favorable spots and even a last minute review of a play. Chris Collinsworth is nausiating with his blatent favoritism of the Cowboy, but, inspite of all that and the Falcon not having they best Defensive player, they overcame. This team can bring the trophy home. Great win!!!!

Who’d have thought Mr. Butterfingers in 2005 would go on to find such success? Great job Roddy and the entire Falcons. Let’s keep this swagger and completeness through playoff time!

Congrats to Roddy. Three best plays I saw him make had nothing to do with catching the ball. 1. Scrambling to recover Ryan’s fumble. 2. The block that sprung Turner for a long run around the edge. 3. Grabbing the DB’s arm to prevent an INT on the last drive. (and doing in a way where ref didn’t see it).

Matt Ryan is such an incredible talent, but more importantly, he is a gamer. Very tough, very competitive, very smart. When it is all said and done, he will re-write the Atlanta Falcons record books and finally bring the Lombardi Trophy home.

Go Falcons.

I am glad others are commenting on the broadcasters of the game! They wanted Dallas to win so badly. It is a shame this team can not get the respect they deserve. Any other 8-0 team would be headliners!

So funny that the focus after the game was how Dallas lost this game and gave it to the birds……the same thing on the Philly game last week……so freakin funny. I love it! I hope they keep it up till we hoist the trophy

Bottom line, Falcons are the only team who can say they have found a way to win every one of their games through Week 9. No. 32 Defense coming up, and by the looks of the Aints-Eagles game, their offense can be held down. Let’s go Dirty Birds. RISE UP!

There’s nothing I can say about Chris Collinsworth that hasn’t been said above already, but he nauseates me so much that I wanted to turn down the TV and find the radio broadcast from Atlanta but couldn’t get it in Macon.
