Atlanta Falcons: Fans can vote for Matt Ryan as ‘air’ player of week
Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is among the nominees for the Fed Ex Air NFL Player of the Week.
Fans can choose from among Ryan, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Voting is from now until 3 p.m. Friday and can be done here (warning: obnoxiously loud auto-load video).
The nominees for the “ground” award are Brandon Bolden, Chris Johnson and Willis McGahee.
FedEx will make a $2,000 donation to Junior Achievement in the name of the winning players.
The unit 29th against the run (146.2 yards per game), ninth against the pass (206.8 yards) and it has forced the opposing quarterbacks into a passer rating of 68.7, which is fifth lowest in the NFL.

The highlights didn’t even show Ryan’s most impressive play – the bomb to Roddy from 1-yard line. Definitely Ryan for the vote!
