Great exciting win for the Falcons.

Good protection, good throe but GREAT catch by Roddy. Te defenders were there but he elevated and caught the ball high and as always brings it down.
Falcons own the NFC South. Saints would have to go 10-2 to make playoffs but have too many hard opponents. Both Carolina and Bucs would need to go 9-3. Neither team is capable of that consistency.

Great football game by a great football team lead by an Elite Great QB. Ryan was like a Timex Watch. He took a licking and kept on kicking.
Just wanted to mention on more thing.
The Saint are still winless! OhFur baby!

I like Matt’s evaluation of the last play: great throw and an even greater catch.
This Carolia game could have EASILY have gone the other way. The good news is that it didn’t and we learned that we CAN come from behind…even starting from the one yard line. We also know that we have great receivers, that Turner can be a beast of a pass receiver when he catches the ball, and that we have innovative offensive and defensive coordinators. So let’s be excited for the win and let’s recognize the work to be done.
1st – What’s up with the O-line? We made Carolina’s front-four look like the best in the world. Gotta fix this soon because we will be facing some premier rushers down the road.
2nd – Where was the “where are they coming from?” blitz attack that completely confused Manning? We were nowhere near as active before the snap.
3rd – We did not do well stopping the run. This wouldn’t be so bad in this pass happy league; however, as teams show other teams how to exploit this we will be sitting ducks for play action.
I believe we are ready to move to the next level…we just have to address a few things to firmly set ourselves on the foundation as THE elite team to beat in the NFC.
At the beginning of the season I had the Birds 5-1 going into the bye – primarily because of our opponents and then 5-5 the rest of the way. I’ll stick with the 5-1 but revise to 6-4 to win the division at 11-5.
BTW – We play the Cards Nov 18. Wouldn’t it be a hoot if both teams were still undefeated?

I used to have the utmost respect for Matt Ryan, however watching and reading his lips on the sidelines at the end of
the game, he is nothing more than a complete jerk of a athlete. To say what he implied and it was very easy to read his lips, was not only unbelieveable, but saddening to see that come from his lips. He dropped the F-Bomb and several other comments, and I am ashamed that I ever thought he was a class act. I will never pull for him or the Atlanta Falcons
again, and hope they lose every game that they play from now on out.

Sam it is pure ignorance to believe that every “classy” QB doesn’t swear when the game is on the line. This is football, it’s emotional, fierce and competitive. If you are thinking that about ryan, then you don’t know football.

Hey sam you must be a troll, I am almost sure you have a man crush on breesus or some other qb. We are glad you are not a falcon fan!

Just waiting for those who care less about the Falcons but rather have a social agenda to say something like… oh… Matt is overrated and hasn’t proven a thing yet. Folks that do that need to travel to Phili to continue their social agenda… GET LOST!

Haha, Sam must not like any profesional sports then.

I was at the game and it was a great game. No doubt, if Cam had not fumbled, the game would not have been won by the Falcons.

To Atlinva & Samtown7 … from all of us who do love football and want our children to grow up doing the same plus have respect for the game do agree with Sam. We all know there are a lot of words exchanged on the field between the players but after such a great game and it was over for Matt to clearly say what he said showed no respect or class at all. I guess you do not have children. All of us who watched the game and we watch football every week (do not miss a game even if not our team) were upset and the children watching could not stop talking about it. Way to go Matt you gave our kids a great lesson on how to play football and how to talk to the other team after you win. Two lessons learned on Sunday.
