Too bad you didn’t have anything to say worth reading. haha.

At least Cam the sham showed some maturity in not calling out his coach on that 4th & 1 call. Eh, like I care. Way to #Rise Up you #Dirty Birds!

It appears Cam is realizing “team” sports are identified by “team” results. Cam has been given so much leeway it “seems” ( maybe, or maybe not ) he is beginning to comphrehend he does not win games alone, but he can sure assist in giving his team a loss. Time will tell. He measured his words. I wonder if he will continue his “Superman” BS. He is playing against people of equal talent. He cannot simply overpower the other team by himself. The plays he ran in college will not work in the pros. The pros are bigger, quicker, faster and are as talented as he is. If he continues to run he will be cutting his career short. Some lineman, linebacker, or defensive back will eventually have an angle on a jarring hit. Again, time will tell.

cam the scam newton strikes again…can we trade him already? We all know about the Heisman curse…none of them are worth their salt in the NFL…I’d rather have Tebow if we’re going with a Heisman winner…He won more games in half a season in Denver than Cam the Scam has won in a full season and a quarter…go home Cam…PLEASE!!!!…just go home.

Cam need to get his ears clean so, mouth shut and eyes open so he can listen to his coaches and somebody needs to tell him he is not at Auburn and drop that silly ass TD dance he do-No No cam you aint going to run over the Pro players like you did At Auburn

Its very clear that Cam Newton is not a leader. For example, the FOX pregame coverage showed him running around the field and circling teammates like some little girl during warm-ups. Then that adolescent dance and Superman drill in the endzone after his touchdown, only to revert to his customary pouting and sulking after the loss. None of this bizarre behavior constitutes the traits of a leader. We are so lucky to have Matt Ryan, not only for his tremendous leadership skills on the field, but his incomparable professionalism when he’s not on the field. Matt Ryan is Wall Street, Cam Newton is Sesame Street.

Not only is he not a leader, he’s trash. Didn’t he get kicked out of Florida for stealing a computer and tried to sell his services to MS State? Auburn paid him enough to stay there one year. Somehow they were cleared of that. Carolina will regret taking him within a couple of years. He’s already shown he’s not a team player. It’s all about him.

Yes, lets trade the ONLY great player Carolina has. Yeah, that makes sense. Tebow????? You mean the guy who sits on the sidelines? The guy who has one of the worst QB ratings in the NFL?

You want to trade Cam, the guy who broke Peyton Mannings record for a guy who can’t make accurate throws?

Hey Falcons fans, win a playoff game and then trash talk. Until then, the Falcons are just another football team without a SB win.

I can’t wait to see the Falcons fans cry in their Bud Lights when the Falcons lose another first round playoff game. Reminds me of idiotic UGA fans who every year say that UGA will win a national championship.

The Falcons, just like UGA, have not played or beaten a great team.

Love the Falcons and Matt. Great win…..But some of the comments about Cam seems to be crossing the line. Cam pregame (Drew Brees) and Touchdown celebrations (Rodgers) seems to be inline others. These guys have been the league longer.

Getting called out by another franchise without a superbowl is comical. Are you a replacement fan?

I’m Atlanta to the core. So I worship the Falcons but I still like Ga products. Like Cam Newton. (except when he’s playing vs. my beloved Birds).

Cam’s dances are no big deal. I don’t care to see Steroid Matthews pump his biceps, the Discount Double Check, or Cam’s superman deals -but guess what- they’re part of the game and it makes it fun.

For those that don’t know…. Yesterday came did the “A Town Stomp”. An Atlanta dance popular back in the early 2000’s. He did it to show his Atlanta roots. Then he did a “cut that” gesture and followed that with his Superman reveal. (Just a “me” move). Comical. Even more funny after they lost.

Sometimes you just got to fet through tough games you are favored to win. All that counts is the final score. Good for the falcons and uga.

Lay off Cam Newton! He’s made some mistakes before as a person just as we all have. This kid is young, good looking, talented and even though he may not say the right things at times he’s still on the verge of being a great QB! Besides, this kid is surrounded by his parents and others who cheer him on to be better and to be himself! I’m a die hard Falcon Fan and I think the real issue is the way the defense played! Atlanta can’t afford to get cocky! After all this is a franchise that has never won a SUPERBOWL!! BIG UPS TO AUTHUR BLANK for changing the culture of FALCON FOOTBALL!!! Keep going young NEWTON!!!

Wow, looking ahead to next weekend, you could go so far to say by this time next week we MAY be able to say that the “curse” over local teams has finally been lifted somewhat. IF (and I emphasize “IF”) the Braves can survive past Friday night and play through the weekend, the Dawgs can somehow pull off a win in Columbia and the Falcons beat Washington. I will settle for two out of three (Braves must be one of the two, or its another lost season!!). Go Braves, Go Dawgs, Go Falcons!

You folks spend way too much time spitting venom at a 23/24 year old kid who is at the end of the day making a living at playing a game he enjoys. More of you would see this if you weren’t attempting to live your fantasies through the NFL. Enjoy your life rather than being upset that you can’t live someone else’s life.

James — Cam needs some more coaching from Warren Moon on leadership. I think you are correct. Perhaps he’ll mature and smooth out some of his rough edges.

I’m not a fan but the kid played a great game yesterday. His miscue should not have cost them the game. I began disliking him when he began to seperate himself from his teamates at Auburn just to play to the crowd at games. If he wants an example on how to carry himself all he has to do is look to Washington. Newton has more talent but RGIII appears to be the total package. That said, this is a Carolina problem not a Falcon one. We’ve had enough drama over the years.

Wow what a bunch of classless Falcant fans for piling on Cam. I don’t get it he just lost a game and is unhappy. He even accpeted the blame when it wasn’t his fault they lost. I’d much rather have Cam then Matty Melt.

Just because you are 4 & 0 doesn’t meant you will win all your games. I bet you lose the next 12!

Hey Scam and the fans that follow him…Matt Ryan said “GTFO our field” after we won. LOL…now that was funny. No simpathy from me for your scam artis. He should take the blame, he coughed up the ball that cause your coach to give the ball back to the real superman on the one yard line with less than a min left. Scam will never be able to do that. BTW it hasn’t been done in over 20 years (the ball being on the 5 or less yardline, less than a min left, and no timeouts) Ryan did it!

Still looking for any good reason that Michael Irvin keeps calling him Rowdy…is it 88s nickname for 84 or is 88 just being himself?

Truly you are correct, it really is somewhat juvenile. You can do that @ Auburn but it doesn’t play well in the pros. Also, that first down signal he does is going to get his head handed to him. Do you really want to get under the skin of some hard popping db when you are not sliding feet first…..?

What most young players coming to the NFL don’t realize is that it is a very big step UP to become a pro at this level We as fans are very critical of the ones that the media makes there darlings to soon All players go thru the maturation process some just do it faster than others Mr Newton has all the tools to be great even seasoned all pros sometimes show they are just a tool
