Panthers vs. Falcons: Playmaker interviews Roddy, Julio
FLOWERY BRANCH — NFL Network analyst Michael Irvin sat down for an interview with Falcons wide receivers Roddy White and Julio Jones on Wednesday. It will air this Sunday on NFL Network’s NFL GameDay Morning at 9:00 AM ET.
Here is a transcript of a preview that aired during Thursday night’s halftime show:
On who the better duo of wide receivers are: Roddy White and Julio Jones, or Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz:
Roddy White: “Victor Cruz is a lot more of a slot receiver; the big boys play on the outside.”
On Roddy White and Julio Jones:
White: “The thing that me and [Julio Jones] bring to the game, we’re probably the best duo in the league right now.”

You know what that is that is confidence in himself and his teammate, and confidence makes you better and right now they are the best wide reciever duo this year, if those other guys think they are better they need to prove it, their on field play shows all. So i see nothing funny about this statement, the only funny thing on this article are the loser aints fans still hangin around bashin this team because they have no life and no class or respect. This team has shown they are better than the taints this year accept it and move on. Its a new year and this is a new more confident teamand new orleans fans of all should kno how confidence can change a team. Good luck with the angry pack this weekend gonna be a long day for a team whose lost all confidence in themselves.

I like Roddy’s confidence. He knows what this team should have been with all its talent when he made his “greatest show” comments last year, and Roddy also knows what we all thought about last year’s playoff loss, that it was an uninspired and gutless offensive game plan.

Love my Falcs but I sometimes wish Roddy would use his mouth for eating and not so much gum flapping. He sure likes to create bulletin board material for our opponents.
