Falcons fantasy injury report: Clabo’s hip is improving

FLOWERY BRANCH – Falcons tackle Tyson Clabo is recovering from his hip injury and fully participated in practice on Thursday.

He was limited on Wednesday.

Tight end Michael Palmer (shoulder), fullback Lousaka Polite (hamstring), cornerback Christopher Owens (head) and running back Antone Smith (hamstring) did not practice today.

Coach Mike Smith already has ruled out Palmer for Sunday’s game.

Five Falcons participated in practice on a limited basis Thursday: defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (groin), wide receiver Julio Jones (hand) and linebackers Stephen Nicholas (thigh) and Mike Peterson (ribs).

For Carolina defensive end Greg Hardy (hand) returned to practice on a limited basis after missing Wednesday’s practice.

Linebacker Jon Beason (knee), guard Mike Pollak (shoulder) and defensive end Antwan Applewhite (knee) did not practice.

Tackle Byron Bell (ankle) was limited on Wednesday, but fully participated on Thursday.

Linebacker Thomas Davis (calf), cornerback Chris Gamble (shoulder), safety Colin Jones (shoulder) and running back Jonathan Stewart (toe) were limited.

WEDNESDAY’S INJURY REPORT
