FLOWERY BRANCH — Falcons running back Antone Smith (hamstring) and corneback Christopher Owens (head) did not participate in practice today.
Tackle Tyson Clabo (hip), defense end John Abraham, linebackers Sean Weatherspoon (thigh) and Stephen Nicholas (thigh), and wide receivers Roddy White (knee) and Julio Jones (thigh) were limited.
“The reason a lot of those guys are limited in their participation is [because] we are on a short week,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said. “There aren’t even 48 hours out from the end of the [Monday] ball game. We wanted to rest some of those guys.”

With that out of the way…..I’m sure they needed a bit of extra rest after the great win. They’ll be ready for San Diego. I like our chances as long as the offense gets back to what it did vs KC moreso than what we did vs DEN. Guys doesnt it feel good to blog without those Aint F.A.N.S (farts and new sewage)?lol

@SirReal: I’m sure that Seen is still trolling like crazy. It’s his addiction, after all. But given how utterly horrible his team has looked, even he has been silenced for now. Enjoy while it lasts… which could be all year – and beyond. And of course, Brees isn’t getting any younger… And Payton has the Vicodin addiction to contend with. The next time we see him will be on Celebrity Rehab with Leif Garret and Heidi Fleiss.

The nfl….com folks……………they just disgust me………posting a thing about Peyton Manning and his lil ole arm let him down ! It was just six days backwards the day after the Pittsburg Steelers win they were talking about how he was gonna come to Atlanta and beat us…………….shakin my head on this one.
Truth is these people over there don’t want to admit the real reason and that is the Falcons secondary were ready for his butt and that’s the rest of the story……………………………………….don’t believe that head on over to the official Falcons site and click on the weekly Mike Smith show on it and listen to William Moore’s remarks on the game……………..

Anyone that saw the Falcons confuse and beat Denver has to know how important a coach with the right strategy brings to the table. Nolanhad Manning brain dead for most of the night. So, realizing how important a coach is than we can all come to the conclusion the Saints are a mess without Sean Payton. He’s one of the best (love him or hate him) and it puts the Saints in a hole they won’t dig out of this year so why is anyone even mentioning them in this Falcons section.

On a different subject, I have a question. Chad Johnson is now divorced from his wife. On tv, Johnson said he is taking ‘anger management’ classes. WHY??? In his official statement to the police, he said his wife was the one that head-butted him. Should not Evelyn be the one taking these classes not Chad? That does not make any sense to me!!!!
