Vivlamore reporting from Flowery Branch.
The Falcons signed wide receiver James Rodgers to the practice squad Wednesday.
Rodgers, the brother of running back Jacquizz, was in training camp with the Falcons after he was signed as an undrafted college free agent out of Oregon State. He was waived as part of the Falcons final roster cut down to 53 players on Aug. 31.
The Falcons had an opening on their eight-player practice squad after offensive lineman Bryce Harris was signed to the Saints active roster Monday.

Glad J. Rogers got added to the practice squad. Hopefully he’ll have an opportunity to eventually work his way up to the active roster in the future.

I must admit STB4,, it takes a rather large sack to show your face around here this week,, so how are your Aints planning on stopping Cam Newton this weekend,, didnt do such a swift job against that rookie for the Redskins LOL!!

Very interesting. He sure had an illustrious college career. If he can continue to excel, he will be a great addition to the team. He should be an illusive return man and can sure catch passes as well… perhaps the slot receiver of the future? GO FALCONS!

It’s funny how Tampa won their first game and they’re still ranked in the lower half of the league power rankings. Guess that says a lot about their competition.

Glad to see James Rodgers come back aboard.
Sorry to see Bryce Dallas Howard go, but you have to expect scrub teams to get desperate and start stealing from you.
Do you think Drew Brees would give a few bucks out of his shiny new contract to have Carl Nicks back? I bet he would.
By the way, how did Lofton look Sunday?

Did I read the AP Power Ranking correctly? New Orlean is 14th? I thought they be projected to win the Super Bowl this year. Why the mediocre rating?

Once again the lowly Saints are picking our scraps to get any edge they can because they have struggled since their illegal activity was discovered and stopped by the NFL. Some way to win a ring, I’m surprised they didn’t use razor blades under the piles. Can you say “Asterisk”?

Glad J.Rogers was resigned. I guess the Nawing Taints bought a Falcon playbook in Bryce Harris. I bet Blew Knees is picking his brain about our D. Oh well, that’s the chance you take.
