Ryan is making throws that he did not make in previous seasons. In the past, Ryan would wait for receivers to come open before throwing the ball. This year, Ryan is throwing the ball in tight coverage and allowing the Julio, Roddy, and the gang to make plays. This approach will wear down a defense. Good Job Falcons.

One more thing Seen, the aints didn’t just lose. They lost on opening day, at home, on a floundering offense, a Brees “da man” (as you say),melt down ( nice clutch int) and last but not least, at the hands of a rookie QB. LOL !! aint’s will never be a dynasty but they will DY–NASTY. LOLOLOL.
BTW, If the Falcons happen to lose next week, at the hands of an accomplished QB I might add, it will pale in comparison to the aints loss this sunday !! Good luck, the aints are on a roll…………….downhill. LOL !

@Cejay: a loss is a loss. Your team wasn’t impressive either, inspite of DLed’s assertion that they shredded the chiefs, who also had a injury riddled defense. Big whoop. I can’t wait till the Saints knock the birdsheet out of your stinkin team! GEAUX SAINTS!!!

@Cejay: I also predicted that Vilma and Smith would play this year. Yeah, I would say that those appeals (that you said the players couldn’t file, and the lawsuits that you said they couldn’t file) are right on schedule.

Sure a loss is a loss, but you know very well there are “degrees” of losing, you use that here all the time as your modus operandi …… I expected better than that from you………I guess you’re running out of ammo

???????? You have me mistaken with someone else……I’ve never mentioned anything with you about Vilma and lawsuits…….I told you before, I don’t know anything about the aint’s affairs…don’t want to, don’t care. You on the other hand are the one who allows the Falcons to live, rent free, inside your head…….I don’t suffer from that.

And yes, your obession with your temas opponent (Falcons) allows them (Falcons) to live in your head rent free….

@Seen: There are different degrees of losing. I would rather lose to Chiefs and Matt Cassell IN Arrowhead than lose to Redskins and a rooke QB IN New Orleans. But Falcons won in Kansas City and Saints lost at home.

So did Jim Haslett, defensive coordinator for the Redskins and fired former Aints head coach get his revenge or was this just good ol’ Karma at work?

@Esqueer: What’s a matter? Don’t you have DirectTV? It’s equipped with a DVR and the NFL package. Or, let me guess, you’re still subjecting yourself to your broadcast analog television huh?!

@bobefann: There’s degree to winning too, beating a team riddled with injuries on their defense is a not exactly stellar.

Well I wound rather be on the winning side of either situation instead of losing to a rookie QB. You know what they say about a doctor who graduates at the bottom of their class… they are still a doctor.

Smitty and the rest of the coaching staff were very successful at not showing too much of the offense or defense during the pre-season. The offense finally played like they were capable of playing all of last year but chose not to, thank-you MM. The defense was so successful at hiding what it wanted to do in the regular season that our own defense did not look like they knew it until the Chiefs failed field goal attempt on their first possession of the third quarter. Lets hope the defense plays like our offense to start the game against Denver next week and our offense plays even better.
I had a feeling the Saints would lose yesterday. It is hard to play with rage that never goes away. Rage consumes and exhausts. It won’t be long and the Saints will be poster children for PTRS – post traumatic rage syndrome.

Ready for Denver to show up now……………its ” Homecoming ” and another win to make it 2-0 . The Broncos won’t be able to put up as many points as the Falcons can……….wait n see.
