Falcons sign WR Drew to active roster, waive OK Manley

Vivlamore reporting.

The Falcons signed wide receiver Drew Davis to the active roster and waived offensive lineman Phillipkeith Manley Saturday, the team announced.

Davis (6-1, 205 pounds) was signed by the Falcons as a college free agent out of the University of Oregon last season. He spent the 2011 season as a member of the Falcons practice squad.

The Falcons had only four wide receivers on their active roster after they injury-waived Tim Toone this week.

Manley (6-5, 309 pounds) was signed by the Falcons as a college free agent in April. He could be signed to the practice squad if he clears waivers.
